4Runner '99 HIDS

The front lights you are talking about will not hold the Oznium dome light. Others have tried other bulbs in there, but they weren't as bright.

Alright I feel you. So I'm using the middle and the back then! What about the turn signals, will they change colors or it hasn't been done yet?

Well I have a '98 and changed the signals and they stayed green.

I think David changed his to blue or something.

I guess it depends on your year.

Alright word, thanks bra. I'll just order some extras and I'll try those blubs :p.

Your turn signal indicators won't change because the bulb is in fact a yellow incandescent. The lens for each arrow is a translucent green plastic, that's where the green comes from. Oh and the little 9-led festoon LED dome lights are what I replaced my oznium lights with. The oznium blue dome lights made it TOO hard to find things in my truck. I still have the blue one if you want it! (its the $25 thin one, 9 high power LEDS)

What's the size of it?

haha trust me, it works.

Oh my gosh, I clicked "edit" and I thought I was banned from the forums already. D:

Anyways, the main dome in the FRONT right? Not the back? D:

BTW, I'm running a 1 watt Luxeon LED bulb in both the cargo dome light and one in the middle dome light. They are pricey, but def worth it. I've been very pleased with their light output. :)

Bad news is, these 1wt Luxeon led bulbs are no longer available...however, that's good news, b/c these dome lights have been upgraded to a Lumileds white Rebel LED! I'm sure those are killer. Makes me almost want to buy a pair and test them out. :bigok:

Here's a link to them if you're interested: http://taskled.com/dome.html

(oh and you'll see the bulbs I'm running at the bottom of the page on the above link.)

Thanks for chiming in Rock Slide. :)

Factory tint is closest to 20%.

Anything smaller than 2" by 2" will fit in the dome light. I just said 2" by 2" because that will produce the most light.

Excellent, I'm getting 20% tint in the front so it should match nicely to the tint then eh? :]

Yep. I started with 20% too. Then went to 15% on all the rears and tomorrow I'm probably going to get 5% on the fronts.

Too much money. :bash:
