Haha. The thing Is made of stone. It's freaking old. In case you need a date there's a big one in between the pillars near the top.
This is what I was thinking.
The lake city pic is pretty good though. Definitely the end of the road. I say continue with the passenger challenge.

Probably doesn't count as middle of no where but it's a dirt road about an hour outside of Lake City
If it counts then next challenge is your 4Runner with every passenger seat filled with females (keep it clean)

After the challenge makes it difficult, I've done this game on other forums and the rule was like 3 months or something like that.
Could we request exif data remain in tact for verification? And now I gotta find an old ass sign...

im going to say the previous challenge has not been met. you need to get a pic with your 4runner infront of a building WITH the date of construction/establishmen on the building IN the picture.
challenger remains: your 4runner in front of a building with an established or built sign/stone/plaque reading earlier than 1912
EDIT: id like to vote we stick with the original rule of photos taken after the challenge was posted. it makes it more fun, otherwise were just searching our photo libraries....lets get out there and get these instead of sitting on our a$$es and looking through stuff we have already done....my .02

Edit: all my pics were taken after the challenge was issued. Except my "middle of nowhere" example. I say we keep this after challenge only rule going.

It has to be after the challenge. That's the point of the game - no fair sifting through your photo file to see what you've got that qualifies, you have to take new photos. This was in the OP, are folks not reading the rules?

Exactly the point, thumbs up. And it's up to you what photos meet your challenge, but it may be hard to get a 4runner, a historical building, and the historical building's plaque in one shot. Will you settle for a shot of the building and the truck, and then a closeup of the plaque?
On this one I will refer to the original rules set in the Classics photo game. If nobody gets this challenge in 3 days a new challenge will be issued.
Lets all have some patience and show some ingenuity, this challenge is less than 12 hours old. Yes we all have jobs, families, whatever else takes up our time, but this is for fun and lets do it right. If not I will issue a new challenge.
Until then the challenge is: your 4runner by a building with a build /est./whatever date earlier than 1912 visible in the picture.

I think exif data needs to be used if we are going to strictly enforce the after rules.
