No new challenge until old one is completed. But the 72 hour rule is also in affect. But it looks like [MENTION=134890]00Sebby[/MENTION] might be able to get this one. If he can't in the next couple days I would be interested in someone completing the 72 hour rule and resetting the game so that we can keep it going.

Ok. I guess this is about as close as I can get to a city skyline this morning. The city is Gatlinburg, TN and There just happens to be a mountain as part of the skyline. But if not quite challenge-worthy, this would also qualify as a local landmark reset as that round hotel on the hill is widely known.
Next challenge: Your 4Runner with some local wildlife in the picture. On the way over the mountain we drove within 20 feet of a small group of elk and wild turkeys. However, use your own interpretation of “wildlife” if you need to.

I went to a 4th of July party today and the hosts had 2 of those. They decided that to let them out to mill around and my border collie wasn’t having it. She was definitely born to herd,

Since 4th of July is now over and it make it more difficult to complete this challenge. So I would like to add to this challenge to make it work.
Next challenge: Your 4runner with fireworks or patriotic display! OR A picture of your 4runner off of pavement with a great view behind it (be creative)

Dang, I wish I had seen this one earlier today. I drove over the Smokies to Cherokee and then Hwy 276 between Waynesville and Fletcher, NC. Beautiful views and plenty of dirt roads. But, now I'm home. :biggrin1:

Welp, I finally got one! Took her off-road on Sunday to go up Grizzly Gulch road to get my 33rd consecutive month of snowboarding in.
Since fireworks are kiiiind of frowned upon in my tinderbox of a state right now...
New challenge: A picture of your 4Runner next to another favorite car/truck. It doesn't have to be your car/truck, just find something in the wild that you like, park next to it, take a picture, and tell us what you like about the other car/truck.

Darn, I would be able to grab this one, but my work doesn't allow us to take pictures anywhere near the property. There's a few guys with some nice Tacos that I always drool a bit over.

Right up my alley, since I hardly ever drive the 4Runner anymore. It just stays parked.

I was sitting in the McD’s drive through when I read this challenge. I thought, “where am I going to to find a clock in this sh*thole?”. It just so happens that there was one right down the street! It’s not on the scale of “Back to the future”, but I’ll take it for the win!
Next challenge: In honor of national ice cream day, your truck next to an old skool ice cream parlor. Or... someone enjoying ice cream in, on, or around your runner.

Dang I missed out. I got a photo earlier today with my 4runner next to a bus. Well on to an ice cream parlor. There is one not to far away from where I’m at now.

I hope this counts. It insn't old school but it is good ice cream. I got my 4runner infront of a baskin Robins. I did put my ice cream cone on the hood for the picture, so the ice cream is on my 4runner. If this isn't good enough please let me know, if it is then:

I think B&R has been around since 1945, so I’d definitely call that old school!
