This was the exact example that came to mind for this thread. I was at Lexus when we handled these recalls. KDSS became standard on the 2010+ GX and combined with all the other "nanny systems" the vehicle actually remained TOO LEVEL in a skid, causing the skid to last longer than safely expected, increasing the likelihood of catching a curb and rolling over. This is actually a case in which the system worked too well.
