Negative, I sold the Rubicon to buy a Troop Carrier when I moved to Australia a year ago. Back in America now in a 4Runner after plenty of exploring.

There's one available RIGHT NOW at Conicelli Toyota in Morristown, Pennsylvania.

I just drove by it two days ago and it was on the lot. I know its not close to Utah, but there is one available

Seems like more toyota dealerships are getting them in. I see Inferno as being the most plentiful and Super White being the hardest to find.

I got really lucky with getting my Super White and i love it. Good luck, man!

4Runner seats don't fold completely flat, there's a slight bump from the cargo area to the back seats. Nothing special about TRD Pro seats.

Spotted this one at the Wild Well Control Training Center in North Houston. Still has the temp tag on it from a Woodlands Toyota Dealer.

If you get the sliding tray the seat backs are then perfectly level with the cargo area when folded. You do however lose some vertical space in the cargo area.

Yesterday I had a couple dealers in my area tell me it's impossible to get one in Inferno anywhere... I don't think that's true. I hope not at least.

they fold completely flat if you have the rear slide-out tray.

just remove the stupid flip-up widget that's supposed to keep items from dropping into the cavity below (doesn't work anyway).

Hey Northern, i was JUST thinking about this. I'm at 4,700 miles now so I'm due for my 5,000 service soon.

I was going to ask that they do an oil change at this point and then another at 10,000 and then just go every 10,000 mi from there. Thats what the recommendation is, right? every 10,000?

I just feel like since the truck is brand new, maybe its a good idea to change the oil at $5,000.

I'm still pretty pissed off about how fragile the white paint seems to be (although thats a totally different subject). I really considered getting the entire car wrapped in matte white, but i feel like thats not a permanent solution and wraps don't last forever. For the price its prob not worth it. This just seems like something I'm gonna have to suck up and deal with.

There's also this ceramic coating you can get done on vehicles, but thats also a few grand. Not sure what other SUPER WHITE owners are considering (or if it even bothers them at all).

Anyway, thats my 2 cents about the 5k service

Living in a harsh desert enviroment, I had my first oil change done at 1k and now I'm going at every 5k. I know it uses synthetic oil and the manual says every 10k, but I feel better at every 5k.

That is just my two cents.

The debate can be summarized into two camps; 1) oil technology has advanced to where todays oil is significantly better than yesteryears; changing more frequently is a waste of money (unless you drive under the listed harsh conditions), and 2) I feel better changing it at a more frequent interval, which is really comes down to "old school" behavior. I have changed at both 5K and 10K for various reasons, but am 'slowly' conforming to the 10K OCI in contrast to my old school behaviors. I changed my oil last time at 5K (60K service), but the oil was clean enough, it made me question my past practices.

You forgot option 3) "I'm smarter than the engineers who designed it and I am going to change it at intervals contrary to the manual because it makes me feel better."

I just changed mine at 8K miles for the first time, and will probably do it about every 8K. Seems like a happy medium.
