That's the commercial that Toyota made. I'm guessing the ones from the body shop weren't supposed to be out there, and somebody got in trouble.

I would almost bet it is going to have the same suspension (or very similar) as the 2014 FJ Cruiser Trail Teams Ultimate Edition. Taller front springs for a level stance and remote reservoir rear shocks.

I think I read somewhere on Facebook that Toyota made a deal with Toytec to sell 1000 brand new special edition Tacomas with the Toytec Ultimate Lift. I wonder if it has something to do with this and if it is not just limited to just the Tacomas.

Yea I found the guy's youtube page(stenbak8817) and asked him in the discussion section, what happened to the videos, and his response was "Toyota made me take it down bc they suck."

Yeah, that video you posted was posted in the OP. The video that was pulled was one that was a walk around of a Tundra with the TRD pro stamped on the rear fender getting painted Inferno Red. There was a second video from the same guy that was of a 4Runner getting painted.

So the question becomes, is this just an 'appearance' package with a mild lift new badging, wheels and a grill or will there be changes to the engine or items added to the engine.... ??

There are the people who know and the people that want to know.

Edit: There are also the people who don't care too. Can't forget about them.

my guess would be the appearance package. I'd be shocked if there were any engine changes.

tell that guy to email you a copy of the videos, then take screenshots and post them everywhere... rename the files "pink rhino" i doubt toyota could find them all!! :evil:

also, Pines Toyota posted the tv commercial on youtube. I sent an RFI to the sales team to try and acquire some more info.

According to this site they are saying a new off road Tundra will be unveiled at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show. So I am thinking the 4Runner and Tacoma will be unveiled too (if this is accurate).

At the 2013 Chicago Auto Show, Toyota unveiled the 2014 Tundra so this might be a 2015 model.
