I just spoke with nobody at Toyota about what power plant will be in this 4runner...they said exactly nothing, witch has me wondering....would they really put a V8 in the 4Runner again, what about CAFE, what about Lexus, perhaps because, they want the nitch FJ market to trade up...

The silver piece on the rear bumper that is normally gray is molded or painted black. Interesting. They better offer it in white.

The video was first shown on the jumbo-tron at Anaheim Supercross this past Saturday. It was also on during two different channels coverage of the race.

Job schmob! How about this? If it has a S/C or V8, then like this post. You would have told us nothing!

I'd be willing to bet $ that it will be equipped similarly to the 2014 FJ trail teams edition with upgraded Bilstein shocks and TRD odds and ends. Just hope they don't do something stupid like removing the prjector headlamps in order to keep the cost down.

Remember the "Urban Runner"? All it will be is a bunch of TRD accessories and a badge. Why do you suppose the TRD accessories haven't been available for the '14 yet?

It is mildly exciting.... I don't think they have ever done an edition across all BOF lines. Barring the Sequoia I guess.

That's not true...I have seen the TRD valve caps for the 14s and a TRD oil cap...:ybrick:

The urban runner and the TE of 09 had no TRD stuff on them. They were just a way to try to push a few more out the door as they were phased out.

O I guess the TE had the locker, but the Tom Tom they both had, some custom interior and some rare badges. I sure hope this one is more than that......wait no I don't....I don't want to want it....
