Hey guys, new to the T4R but since my wifes 12 JKU is on the block for a TRD Pro, I thought I would chime in on my recent experience.

We ordered a TRD Pro last week and were told by the dealer that this was the first TRD Pro 4 Runner they have ordered (ordered a Tundra last week)
Ours was ordered as White with sliding cargo, TRD mats, remote start. When entered in computer it showed softex with contrasting red stitch & sunroof as standard equipment.
They were unable to give me the exact pricing or delivery schedule as the system only kicked out a confirmation of special order. They told me that it was the same on the Tundra, except that they were told that Tundras would be built black first, then Orange then white. They assumed that ours would be the same and to expect 90 days on delivery.

Has anyone actually confirmed delivery of a vehicle yet? The Toyota dealer meeting for the southern states was two weeks ago in Vegas and that was the first time that the TRD Pro was released to them for ordering.

DEVASTATED!

Picking up my TRD in less than 2 weeks and this news about no sunroof is hard to swallow! I live in a very sunny climate and have enjoyed sunroofs for the last 20 years and really love them. I recently passed on a '14 TEP for the TRD and even though they dropped the KDSS, I figured NO WAY would they then cut out the sunroof too! Ouch!

C2one posted this on page 64. Says sunroof is standard. My dealer also read me my spec sheet and I remember her saying sunroof.

I was told the opposite. White first, black, then inferno red. I am supposed to be getting mine white Pro in Oct/Nov. I ordered it the last week of July and I still have not been able to get any confirmation on options. One of the other dealers I talked to said they would have one in around 9/15 and could have it if I wanted it. I told him that I would take it with in 2 minutes of getting the email, but he hasn't returned my calls or emails since then (8/19. Great customer service).

As for others saying it doesnt have KDSS or sunroof, I was told originally it would have both, but it won't surprise me at this point if the 4runner they ordered for me comes in lowered, painted in some pastel metal flake and has dingleberries hanging all around the interior.

Well, my guy told me that there is no sunroof. The Toyota press release says no sunroof. The 2015 4runner brochure doesn't include it either. Hope is dwindling fast for my beloved sunroof! Definitely makes the TRD purchase bitter-sweet at the moment for me. :deadhorse:

First TRD Pro Runner received. No KDSS and as for now it appears no sunroof either. Though most online pictures of the Inferno Red show a sunroof. Have only received Black. From the factory, the only things include the Sliding Rear Deck, and the factory NAV same as the TE's. Port installed will be the F/R Bilstein shocks w/ remote resevoir; TRD Spings, which I believe are Eibach; TRD Skid Plate(same as Trail Team FJ); 265/70/17 Nitto Grapplers on 17' TRD Black wheel; TRD Pro side badge and shift knob. TRD Pro floor mats will go with the vehicle to the dealer. Dealer's should have already requested their first round for delivery at end of the month/ beginning of next month. Not sure on color options and their delivery though. Any picture interest for it not fully assembled? Only the suspension has been put on. Probably will not be assembled until next week.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news fellas, but I just got off the phone with a TRD specialist at Toyota who informed me there is no sunroof on the TRD Pro. I gave her a VIN of one I was considering (that my local dealer is getting in) and she confirmed it did not have a sunroof spec'd, so she did more digging and confirmed higher up the chain that NONE OF THEM WILL BE EQUIPPED WITH SUNROOF. :sorry:

With the high price, ambiguity of delivery/production dates and this confirmation of no sunroof, I've changed my mind on this model. I'll pick up a TEP and add the parts I want... Booooo!

Agreed with Primo, it does not appear that any of the TRD Pro 4Runner's will have the sunroof. However, unlike Primo, I am just waiting for the second I can order one. I am set on white if the Inferno Red doesn't come by November. Someone who has seen all three colors behind a "phone tape" line says it's the best looking color. But certainly to each his own. Anyone interested in a 2014 TEP with KDSS 2,700mi? :surfer:

I have two PDF build sheets for separate vehicles (diff VINs) - both do not include a sunroof in the spec. I trust this over a list of features on a dealer website - those are OFTEN wrong. Hell, look at the photo they used - not a TRD Pro model.

I love the trd pro and was thinking of trading in my 14 TEP w/kdss but I would of gotten hammered on the trade in. So this my solution

Just got this from one of our Colorado dealers. I have the build list which has NO sunroof listed, which does not bother me. But I've listed the MSRP for those who are interested.
Looks like mid October for delivery.

Awesome! I too was looking at the trade but decided against it. I have the TRD wheels on order, first good pic I've seen with them on the white; really love the look of them. Are those BFG KOs? I was thinking of going with Cooper S/T Maxx in 275/70/17 for a more aggressive looking tire. Also, where did you get the badging?

Thanks the tires are bfg rugged terrain's and I got the badging off a tacoma trd pro vin# they are the same ones that will come on the 4runner.
