I had a brand new duramax and all I had was problems from day one. the new diesels are great except for the emissions crap. and that isn't workable so they are crap.

Not to go too far off topic here but that's why there was such a delay in Jeep going "live" with their VM Motori diesel. That engine is great but as soon as they had to meet emissions they failed the test and had to reconfigure.

If I towed something with any significant weight I'd probably get a diesel but I don't have to worry about that.

Who said the 4Runner was gonna be the "Raptor Killer"? The Tundra TRD Pro was supposed to be and even that is not a Raptor Killer. Of all of them, the Tundra is the most complete package and the only one I would get. I do agree with you, however, the production version is the T4R is pretty disappointing considering how promising the pre-production version looked.

I thought I'd give an update on my new TRD Pro. I've put about a hundred miles on it since I picked it up on Friday. I had never even driven a 4Runner before I picked mine up on Friday and I couldn't be happier with my decision to get the TRD Pro. The suspension works great. The ride is very smooth. It has a bit of nose dive under heavy braking, but I'm used to that as my Ford Raptor did the same thing. The interior is very quiet with minimal tire noise. It feels more like I'm driving a luxury SUV instead of an off-road oriented SUV. I'm not too concerned about fuel mileage but so far the display is showing that I'm averaging 16 mpg. I'm going to try and get out to the desert in the next month and see how it works in the dirt.

Yourone of the first to own. I expect more info on mine this week. So how do you like it.
Gas mileage has to be much better than your raptor. Did you get it offroad?
How was it? Are you satisfied?

Did we ever figure out if the shocks were adjustable?
I've had 4, 4runners since 2006. Plain suspension, xreas, kdss.
Will be interesting to see how this suspension compares with the others.

I'm very satisfied with it. It seems to be one of those vehicles that just does everything well. I haven't had a chance to get it offroad yet, but hopefully soon. The Raptor was great for high speed running out in the desert, but it was a bit too wide for some trails. I'm looking forward to going on some trails I didn't take the Raptor because of it's size. I'll post a report once I get it in the dirt.

I have a 02' T4R Sport with lots of upgrades including Tundra Brakes, Aux Tranny Cooler, Sonoran Steel 1.2 Lift, FJ 6 spoke Powder Coated Rims, Etc etc. I don't care about the KDSS because if you put a lift on the trail model, you loose the KDSS anyway.

Bummer about the sunroof wish they put it in.

KDSS is not lost with a lift.

Correct, OP may be confusing the Trail KDSS system with the Limited X-REAS (which you do lose with a lift)

Good Evening Everyone!

I just recently picked my Super White TRD Pro about 5 days ago. I completely agree with TRDPPRORUNNER it is a very capable vehicle, I only have 300 miles on mine and have taken it through a little bit of off-road and I have to say it's a very smooth and comfortable ride.

With regards to the adjustability of the suspension I'll be taking my Pro to the Dealer today and see if they can raise it one more notch.

I was informed that they did not put the sunroof in as they were concerned about torque/twisting while off-roading which might stress the sunroof leading to leaks or breakage??? In theory that might be true but who knows?
