4runner TRD Pro

What if i bought the truck downsouth and drove it up to NY? Could i take advantage of the incentive?

Good luck finding one there are no I repeat no Infernos right now available or incoming here soon that I have been able to find. If you can it wont matter where you are from but in what region you are buying. That said you would have to meet the requirments of financing through said region. IE SET Finance. Downfall is the Toyotathon Incentives disappear after 1 Jan.

I prefer black or white... But i'm warming up to the inferno color oddly... I'm sure I can qualify for any kind of financing if its based on credit. Not sure though if there are other factors.

I am all about keeping the information here as accurate as possible. While I cannot speak for the other regions, this a screen shot of the current incentives on the TRDP 4 Runner for the Chicago region. Maybe someone else can accurately verify if this is true for the nation or just certain regions.

I'll second this. Same exact incentives here in NE PA!!

i will as well add this future clarification. It is region sepcific per distributor.

Finally got news from dealer that my TRDP Inferno should be here end of January after having preordered in July. Anyone else in the area get news?

Hey all!

I'm expecting delivery of a Super White TRD Pro mid-January.

I'm getting a little concerned reading about the approach Toyota took in fixing the slight tire rub "issue" that was shared by owners previously in this thread. Should I be concerned? Are there any updates?

On ours they did do as good as a job as one can do as far as trimming/shaving the edge. Ideally they should of repainted the edge, which we plan on doing with touch-up paint. But it is not noticeable when simply walking around the car. From what I gather the rub happens during a specific maneuver while going in reverse with wheels at/near full lock. If I had to guess they trimmed ~1/8" if that helps.

^ Agree. As long as there is no future paint chipping potential from unfinished edge you really can't tell unless ur looking for it. I would likely of not noticed.

Same here except I only ordered mine a week ago. I got lucky as we ended up earning a TRDP for hitting our objective and I claimed it asap. Mine is expected to be built today.

Definitely regional. I am in MA with excellent credit (800) and the toyota financing had the TRD Pro exempt from the 0%. Ended up with 5% which is highway robbery but not a big deal for me since I will pay off the loan in the 1st month.

I hand washed my TRDP 3 times and I didn't notice it until it was posted on this forum (There goes my theory of the clunk sound as the reason for the hold)

If you don't point it out, 95% may not even notice it. I would have chosen this route too if they gave me an option to wait 3-4 more months until Toyota tooled another mold and shipped from Japan to replace the front bumper.

I would be more concerned if it was a metal piece that they cut back and left exposed.

Nice! Which company did you win it from iydmma? At this point personally I'd rather just have it after the winter to have another year before I have to worry about snow.

I work for a Toyota dealer in NE PA and we earned one for allocation since we hit our objective. I reserved it right away. Best part about working for Toyota is I got it for invoice less holdback. My MSRP is $43179 as I opted for remote start, paint protection, and all weather mats. I get to buy it for $38939.

It's only annoying because people expect parts to be made to work without afterthought mods. As far as affecting anything it won't... If it does, trust me, Toyota will have to answer for it. It's a plastic piece that was cut... It won't rust, if it peels Toyota will have to fix it under warranty.

Basically, it's a small batch truck that they ran into a small problem probably due to the fact that during testing the front suspension was set higher and when it went to production they lowered it .5" in the front, then a rub issue showed up too late to fix it with new front clip parts, so they cut. It's unusual and a bit annoying.... But a non issue. Unless you get down on your back and turn the wheels to one side, no one will ever even know what you're talking about.

Hi all

Mine (attitude black) is scheduled to be at the dealer next week.

I do have a question for you all. I put a deposit it mine while it was still in the factory. Dealer gave me the vin and now I see it listed on cars.com and the dealer website. Is this normal? I was told then I put a deposit it wouldn't be.

Just wondering if this is something I should be concerned with or if it's no big deal.
