Did anybody do a true factory order?

The people in my area who have Pros allocated to them seem to be only in black or white. Nobody has any on the lots right now. So I'm wondering if I'll be able to do a custom order for it.

I'm looking for an Inferno. Those seem even more hard to come by.

Similar to me. But why? My buddy has a 2014 SR5 and is getting 18.2 mpg and drives less highway than me. I will give some credit to the crappy tires he's running stock. BUT my LE had the same Nitto tires as TRDP but bigger 275's vs the 245's OEM's. Literally, almost a 2 mpg difference. Sure there are little nuances that make differences, but not 2 mpg IMHO. Something has to of changed, especially, since it am not the only one. Just sayin...
For me it's more about filling up more frequently than the dollars it cost. I would enjoy an additional 40 miles per tank I am missing now.

Dunno the answer. Wish I could say it was due to supercharger but butt dyno registers about the same.

EDIT: didn't think about it before but maybe some of it is due to break in. I'm still under 3k miles on mine.

This is my first post and if I never post again I at least wanted to thank the forum for all of the info that helped me go into a dealership prepared. I stumbled across an inferno not expecting any to be left (if the dealer was being honest, it was the only one left in any color on the eastern seaboard), traded in my beloved STI and walked out the door slightly under MSRP. I love my new truck and can't wait to get it off the pavement! For anyone on active duty, don't let a salesman tell you that the $1000 Toyota rebate doesn't apply to TRD Pros. I was able to get that and the low interest rate I wanted, good luck to everyone else out there trying to find one.

From what I've heard I believe that most have been made and many are spoken for. I could be wrong. I haven't been wrong yet this year so this could be my one mistake for 2015.

I would just start contacting every dealer near you and see if they have one allocated to them and see if it's spoken for.

Just received confirmation of my Inferno and estimated delivery date with VIN number as well. Should reach LA port 2nd week of Feb and we'll get it about 10 days after.

Original order placed with dealer early December.

Sadly, I can't do the deal with you. I'm only buying the Pro for the floor mats.

Thanks for your take. I plan to order one in the next few days once I find a dealership that wants to sell at a reasonable price. I'll post about the experience.

I can't believe I'm going to have to wait another whole freaking week to pick mine up when it's just sitting there waiting for me. Sucks.

I hear ya! This is the longest I have ever waiting for any vehicle. Is officially 11 months since I knew that I wanted one after Toyota made announcements in Feb of 2014. Hang in there, the week will go quickly if you are as anxious to get it as I have been.

Yep. It's definitely tough.
I did get European delivery on an M3 I bought once. Went over there and drove it around for a couple weeks and then had it shipped over here. That was only like an 8 week wait if I remember right. But after driving it and then not having it I think that wait may have been worse than this one.
A couple years ago I had a custom acoustic guitar built for me by a well know luthier. I waited almost a year for that guitar too.

Ah well. Good things come to those who wait right?
