4runner TRD Pro

note the e-locker only has a one-way breather like the rear diff. even though it's mounted a bit higher (on the crossmember just above and aft of the rear axle) might as well take care of that too while you're back/down there.

I just did this mod to the diff and routed it up to the gas line almost to the top. I did not see any elocker vent. Do you have confirmation of this vent or a pic?

you do have a Trail, correct? it is mounted higher, up on the crossmember just aft of the rear axle. it is difficult to see/access if you don't drop the spare.

First & Second Mods

Received my Ellis Precision shifters today:

Also did the interior light LED upgrade last night too. The only issue I had was the Dome Light. It was kind of tight getting the replacement in there. Ended up destroying one of the replacement bulbs, but there was an extra in the pack. I’ll post up picks later. It was late and Scout was getting tired of waiting, and wanted to head inside…..

Love those shifters! Was just looking at their site, but couldn't find the shifters. Where'd you get em from?

Right now he is not making anymore per the fjcruiserfoums due to employment reasons. He is going to have manufacturing transfered to someone else. They should have them back up in a little while, mthey are very hogh quality, also mqkes battery clamps and more.

Hope these pictures help...The one on the left shows the two breathers. E-locker breather happens to be where the light is shining and has a short tube extension. The right shows (although blurry) where the factory extended the e-locker breather to the cross-rail on the frame just after the rear axle housing toward the back.
Both pictures are taken with the spare tire removed and looking from the back toward the front of the vehicle.

He had a Group Buy over on the FJ Forum (have a set on FJ too) a few months ago…..Mine just came in yesterday; took 3 months. He’s not doing anymore for awhile; Joel shipped off to Basic Training in the Canadian Armed Forces (not sure which branch). I think he turned it over to an Offroad company to continue on, but I’ll have to look into it. The wife really wants a set for her Tundra also.

Yeah, somewhere in the original post he asked not to ask not to talk about it. Something with his job who knows just passing it along.

Just joined the orange club.

I just joined the orange club as well! Quick question, do you or anyone else know where I can get those running boards in your picture? Part number? I want the all black running boards like that but can't seem to locate a part number from anyone. Thanks!

Let's get more dirty PRO's in this thread. I hit up Berdoo Canyon in Joshua Tree NP on Sunday:

So far I've managed to get out to the Sierra Pelona Trail and Berdoo Canyon. Hoping to see more dirt soon! Love my 4Runner!

I don't know the part number of the rigid running boards. I did find this pt# PT938-89100 but the foot pattern didn't look the same. Check with your local dealer parts department they can easily provide you the number.
