I have no luck in California finding anything at MSRP. Everyone is marking them up $4-5k

Paying sticker in a car buyers market sucks enough as it is. Paying 5K over sticker for a 4runner is just ridiculous.

Maybe I just got lucky but I saw my 2016 quicksand coming off the truck and pulled in to "look" at it. Needless to say I bought it. I negotiated it down to $39,300. I just feel that there is always room for negotiation... keep it in mind when you go to your dealer.

If you read through the posts of the past week or so, it's almost comical. Some dealers profess to know their allocations for the entire year, some just the next allocation. Some know how many are coming into the state. some taking deposits, some not, some with waiting lists, some not. one post about a build sheet....first time I heard that one....my dealer said they can't order them....just have to take whatever is allocated. At least Toyota, working through their dealership network, is inspiring confidence with consistent messaging to their customer base...

It's unreal the mixed messages I am getting. I still do not know if I will end up getting one.

Getting the TEP is my backup plan. But I will give it 5-6 months of waiting before I pull that.

not sure why they say no pricing, I priced it our Toyota's website and it clearly states 2017 Cement 4runner (no options available, you can add accessories, but no extra options to add) for $42,400 plus $940 Delivery fee.

Toyota does have regional websites, so for instance when I put my zip code in for South Carolina it wouldn't even offer me cement as color. So i put in my old zip code in the mid atlantic and it enabled me to choose cement as color and took me straight to the page with pricing and local dealers to contact(not that they have them in stock, but I imagine it just shows you the dealers in your zipcode ands then you need to contact them directly).

It's crazy it's so difficult to get a vehicle like a 4runner, you think toyota would make a ton(like they they do with all their other vehicles) but I guess they want the TRD PRO to be something exclusive.

if anyone has a legit connection on how to get one, feel free to PM me contact details for a dealer (willing to travel across the country and road trip home).

Hey long time lurker. I finally signed up to the forum. This is crazy that you all are having such a hard time getting a PRO. Call Hossain Saddat at Toyota west in Columbus Ohio. He ordered mine with a $500 deposit over the phone. I told him the options I wanted. They ordered it and I had it in 3 months. No big deal. They sold 10 Trd pro 4runners last year. My price was $1000 below msrp. That's the way they sell all of them. You have to find a dealer that actually wants to help you.

i love the Cement color, but it's truly unappealing on the 4Runner because Toyota's designers botched it. it's way too much; applied with way too broad a brush.

if they'd given it some matte black fender trim, door handles, side-view mirrors, roof rails, and rear bumper trim (yeah, as was standard on the 10-13 TE) it would look great. that's why it looks good on the FJ—there's some contrast to keep it visually interesting. unfortunately for the 4Runner, as it is, it's just a bland-ass wall of boring gray.

That is a great observation...I was thinking the same with quicksand and noticed how nice the quicksand looked with the fender flares contrasted/plasti-dipped in matt black.

Where in Texas are you? I put $500.00 down for a 17 Cement TRD PRO on the 5th dec. and was told by the manager of the dealership to his knowledge they're not being made till the beginning of the year.I was told they don't even know if the sliding tray is coming on all TRD's standard or as an option even though Toyotas website shows on the build page as an option. 2nd or 3rd week is when they're suppose to have on allocated to them.(Fingers Crossed)

Hey Guys, I am starting to do my research for a new SUV. I really like the TRD Pro and Limited 4Runners. We have a 2 month old baby and the current Mazda CX5 seems to be a really tight fight for the rear facing car seat (which we have to do for 2 years). My wife will sit in the back seat with the baby (car seat in the middle). We push the passenger front seat all the way forward to give her room. We can squeeze one more person in the back seat but it is a tight fit.

Can any comment on how much space is in the second row of the TRD Pro? I know these are extremely hard to get but I want to try and figure out if these will work or not. Looking on the specs online between the CX5 and 4Runner it looks like the Mazda has 7 inches more leg room but I do not see how? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't (yet) have a 4Runner, but have sat in several. Yes, the back seat room specs are way off for whatever reason. I've sat back there (I'm 6'2") and had plenty of room...so a rear facing car seat shouldn't be an issue.

Thank you very much! That is good news for us. I want to be able to fit 3 adults and the baby comfortably.

Up until last week I had no idea that a TRD Pro was so limited and hard to get. I only saw 1 used one on autotrader and a few more on cars.com I think all that helps resale value down the road.

I know someone selling a White 2016 TRD Pro with 7k miles for $5k over MSRP. That is what he is saying but I do not doubt it....

They were asking 7-8k over MSRP for that truck... Toyota tax is steep... 55k total I think they were asking for the Tacoma.

For what they ask over MSRP for these things... you can get better suspension doing it yourself for that type of coin.

Yikes! Crazy how some area's are worst than others for this kind of pricing My dealer has agreed to nothing above MSRP for my order, which at the moment seems to be about average for special orders

If I'm not mistaken, the dimensions of the second row of the seats should be the same as other 4Runners. So, you could use a rig already on the lot to determine if it will meet your needs.

Same boat.... fun to think about a Cement '17 TRD Pro, but the MSRP is a bit high for me to pay it just for a different paint color compared to the lower trims. (Yes, I know there are other upgrades on it, but really, I'd be shooting for the unique paint).
