4runner TRD Pro

We just got an allocation for a Cement Pro at the dealership I sell at. If someone wants it, give me a call. 402-290-3906. Can get someone locked in on it if they are serious about buying one. You can call or text.

I'd grab if white in a second!

So my dealer told me today that Toyota accepted my order for a white TRD Pro.

They don't have a build date yet but supposedly I have secured a 4runner.

I guess the wheels are in motion? I guess getting a VIN will make things official.

If it was white, I'd be there.

Just took name, number, deposit and model info (color, options, etc) wanted. I told them I would be using my own bank for financing, so no other info was required at this point.

I am same boat with you :-) Credit Union at 1.49% interest full price :-)

Same here. They charged my card immediately for the deposit, sent me a receipt and my order. I got an update yesterday and my salesman told me that apparently Toyota received WAY more orders than expected to there might be delays but that he doesn't say any reason for a substantial delay.

Not sure on the '17s but I got my '16 @ $1,500 off sticker. Gotta call around and do some legwork.

Jumped into the 5th gen pool last night! Put a deposit down on a Cement TRD Pro. Got the truck for 1,040 under MSRP. All of the dealers I talked to were firm at MSRP, so I was surprised when the deal came together. I'd like to thank all of the forum members who post here.....it was a big help in the buying process.

For those that put deposits down, did the dealer take down all your info?

Income/job/social etc.. Like a full application.

I just put down $500 at the beginning of Dec. to get a spot in line for a TRD Pro so they didn't need any real personal info like income or my SSN.

Once the vehicle arrives I am sure they will try to finance me through the dealer and sell me an extended warranty.

I will probably use my credit union for financing but I always let the dealer run my credit app just in case they can get me a better rate.

Would love to figure out a way to knock a few $$$ off mine, but I was told no way. Anything else I might try negotiating?

That does seem strange that a dealer would discount a TRD Pro 4 runner this early in 2017 with such high demand.
Or maybe the demand is just being hyped?

Should be interesting to see how many TRD Pro 4runners are sitting unclaimed at dealers later in the year.

The dealer holds all the cards. If you can afford $45,000 for a limited production vehicle thats in high demand not getting $1000 off sticker shouldn't really matter.

I am in Colorado right now snowboarding for 3 weeks and I have seen hundreds of 4runners.

My son and I have only spotted 2 TRD Pro 4runners. These vehicles are pretty rare.

My manager wouldn't even discount the Pro for employees at our dealership. I am super surprised anyone is finding them less for sticker. It's already hard enough to even have one on the lot that isn't spoken for at least weeks before it drops at the showroom.

They discounted a little for mine but it was like pulling teeth. Look for other things to negotiate. Interest rate. Free maintenance. A matching spare. Etc. Honestly, I got really lucky finding mine so I was willing to pay.

Just to update, I put my $500 deposit down tonight. Will be the white TRD4 PRO, with only the sliding cargo tray and dealer tint. Total OTD price $47,349. The price could drop if any incentives come out before mine arrives. Order will be put in tomorrow morning, when it processed as I'm sure some of you know the salesman can track it every step of the way.

The salesman will call me if ANY white pros become available to him no matter the options so I can opt for it instead of the one I ordered.

Can't friggin wait! It's going to be less than I paid for my Tundra TRD PRO so I'm excited for all kinds of reasons.

WOW!!! I guess I am fortunate that I live in an area with a dealer that does not believe in price gouging... If you put everything on a TRDP at Toyota.com, you can't get it to $47k. I went in to my dealer with a price in mind for my trade and told him if he'd give me that amount off of MSRP, I'd write him a check for the deposit right then and there on a 17 TRDP Cement, it was that easy. I feel much better about paying MSRP after reading through this thread. Crazy....

Yea - nice move. I feel the same. I have a TRDP locked in, but the dealer only has a cement. They are trying to trade with another dealer for the White that I want. Now I just wait...

I ended up paying $500 under MSRP for my 2016 Super White. I put my order in July and I'm still waiting. I filled out an order form with name, address, etc. then put $500 down as a deposit. My dealer sent me a copy of the order and then a few days later emailed and said Toyota Japan had accepted.

Last thing I heard from the dealer was that it would now be a 2017, but apart from that, very little other information. No idea when it's arriving at the dealer.

Tried to order a 16 in June but most allocation was gone or way over MSRP. SoCal dealers start 3-5k (even 10k) over MSRP.

I was able to find a dealer in Ft. Worth, TX that was willing to work with me. My 17 Cement is currently on the boat and should be hitting the Houston port on January 31st. Probably another 2 weeks until it gets to the dealer. So should have mine by Mid-Feb.

Several dealers advised that most units are sold before they hit the shore, so unless someone backs out you're not likely to see one sitting on a lot. Meaning if they have one on their website, it's sold and most likely not even on their lot. If you want one you really should pre order and expect to wait a while.

Placed my order late December 2015 for a '16 Quicksand Pro. Got the truck third week of February 2016. Great experience all around with my dealer.
