The dealer holds all the cards. If you can afford $45,000 for a limited production vehicle thats in high demand not getting $1000 off sticker shouldn't really matter.

I am in Colorado right now snowboarding for 3 weeks and I have seen hundreds of 4runners.

My son and I have only spotted 2 TRD Pro 4runners. These vehicles are pretty rare.

My wife and I drove last fall from West Michigan through Canada, Vermont, etc, out to Bar Harbor Maine, and then back through Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and back to Michigan. Saw only one TRD Pro the whole trip, and it was Gray.

I just talked to a dealer in Austin that says they have a '17 TRDPro arriving 01/31 in cement gray and it isn't spoken for yet.

I didn't ask about flexibility on the price because I budgeted for a 16 trail.

Anyone know if the tires on the 17 TRDP are the "G2" Nitto Terra Grappler or just the first generation? Seems like all the information I read does not specify.

WOW!!! I guess I am fortunate that I live in an area with a dealer that does not believe in price gouging... If you put everything on a TRDP at Toyota.com, you can't get it to $47k. I went in to my dealer with a price in mind for my trade and told him if he'd give me that amount off of MSRP, I'd write him a check for the deposit right then and there on a 17 TRDP Cement, it was that easy. I feel much better about paying MSRP after reading through this thread. Crazy....

To be fair that price is after taxes, title and licensing fees. I am paying less than $500 over MSRP with factory tint which they are charging and arm and a leg for.

So my dealer just called me and informed me that the I can only get a cement in this first first allotment. He said if I want white I have to order in the next allotment and the vehicle probably Will hit the dealer lot in the middle of April.

I sure wish I could see the cement color in person because it is kind of a strange color.
There's a good chance I would love it in person but I like white so I guess it's going to be worth the wait?

Yea - nice move. I feel the same. I have a TRDP locked in, but the dealer only has a cement. They are trying to trade with another dealer for the White that I want. Now I just wait...

I was torn between those two colors as well, I went with cement after seeing a 2017 Tundra in Cement. The Cement Tundra wasn't hard to find, it's very possible you could find one to go look at if you just wanted to see that color in person.

In TX, you are going to have the same distributor that we have here in AR, Gulf States I believe. 1/31 was the date given to me as well, my dealer had a Cement and Super White TRDP both allocated for end of January arrival. I chose the Cement and the last I heard the Super White was still up for grabs.

Got a call from my dealer today. They have a red one on the way to the lot. They cant get the cement on the first shipment so I have to wait for the next patch. If I am ok with the red one then it will be here sometime next week. :ybrick: i want cement or quicksand.... please bring back quicksand!

Yes, AR, LA, MS, OK, and TX are all the GST states. And yes, 1/31 or before for the first batch of '17 TRDP depending how long they take at the port to inspect the vehicles.

It's got to be the color, I've never had as many gawkers and comments on any of my 4Runners as I have I gotten on this beast, it never ends.

FJ Trail Team Roommate

This is my FJ TT. Cement T4R TRD PRO will be joining it in the garage soon. Dealer says by end of next week. But with this crazy weather, who knows....

For Gulf States region the 1/31 date everyone keeps hearing is actually the estimated release date from the port. So if that date doesn't change they will be shipped out after that. Of course anything can happen as we get closer to that date.
