It is an overlay 3M adhesive kit. I've had mine on over 9 months without any issues.

Do you happen to have a link to the one you bought?
I thank it looks like a different color than my cement FJ. You be the judge
Does the 2017 have an actual key or is it a fob? The TRD Pro that is..
It's close but I don't know exactly what Toyota did but the PRO series paint has a deeper hue and it shows/changes in different light not as flat as the FJ....both rock in there own way ...maybe it's me but just my thoughts from seeing them first-hand...the Inferno...damn bad ass in a sunset ...
Looks legit - ordered mine. Thank you for the heads up!
Just ordered mine, too. That chrome has been annoying me for the past year. Saw this thread yesterday and am now impatiently awaiting delivery...
I was about to order stuff but decided to wait..Yup. No idea why Toyota would black out everything but their logo. Lazy.
I don't even have my TRDP yet and already ordered:
-weathertech mats
-blacked out rear hatch emblem
-Shrockworks sliders
On the fence about:
-full led exterior and interior lighting change (anyone have this and like it?)
-sprintbooster since the gas pedal is so unresponsive.
Truck comes in late Feb....

I even gave up looking for more dealers lol.. Just stick to my Utah dealer and hope for the best
In talks with an out of state dealer on a white TRDP. Been trying to give him a deposit but he is waiting to confirm he can process out of state (CO) taxes and tags.
Then need to drive it cross country
I was wondering how long it took from the time you placed your order? I placed an order end of December and am being told that it should be built this week. I know they can't tell me yet when it will ship and arrive. Just trying to gauge timeframe. Thinking toward end of February. Mine will also be Cement. My Cement arrived at port, in Portland, OR, on January 3rd and I'm still waiting on it...hopefully this weekend. They do final assemblies when they get to port and then, at least for me, I have my dealership doing a few add ons, so they need 2 days for that, BUT, that's when it actually gets up here to WA state.
I am in a smaller area in Western Washington and fortunately was able to be first in line, just before Christmas. They were allocated one and since they hadn't ordered it I was able to select the color and options. I was told 6 to 8 weeks, maybe a little more. Talked to my sales person a couple days ago and thinks it could be building this week, but I don't have a confirmation on that. These TRDpro's are hot. I feel very lucky to have been able to have one on the way.So I am about a month away from placing my order. I have placed calls to numerous dealerships, all giving somewhat differing responses; some saying yes, we can order, it takes 6 weeks, only xx deposit, come on in! to others talking about allocation, waiting lists, can take up 3-4 months, etc. So obviously some of these guys can be pulling your leg and saying what they can to get you in the door, but what are did your experience fall in line with? I am in the Seattle area.
