4runner TRD Pro

I think it looks slightly different color than my cement FJ. You be the judge

It's close but I don't know exactly what Toyota did but the PRO series paint has a deeper hue and it shows/changes in different light not as flat as the FJ....both rock in there own way ...maybe it's me but just my thoughts from seeing them first-hand...the Inferno...damn bad ass in a sunset ...

According to Toyota, its the same paint code for the FJ, TRD Pro and the Scion TC. They say its all the same color.

Did the paperwork on my cement. Dealer is hoping it is here by this weekend. Traded in my '15 colorado z71 pickup. Got an awesome trade in. Also $500 off sticker and no processing fees, so savings of about $1000.

Ready for it!

Mike

Just ordered mine, too. That chrome has been annoying me for the past year. Saw this thread yesterday and am now impatiently awaiting delivery...

Yup. No idea why Toyota would black out everything but their logo. Lazy.

I don't even have my TRDP yet and already ordered:

-weathertech mats
-blacked out rear hatch emblem
-Shrockworks sliders

On the fence about:

-full led exterior and interior lighting change (anyone have this and like it?)
-sprintbooster since the gas pedal is so unresponsive.

Truck comes in late Feb....

I was about to order stuff but decided to wait..

I even gave up looking for more dealers lol.. Just stick to my Utah dealer and hope for the best

In talks with an out of state dealer on a white TRDP. Been trying to give him a deposit but he is waiting to confirm he can process out of state (CO) taxes and tags.

Then need to drive it cross country

I found one on my first dealer out of state today... much closer to the one I had previously found. I just put my deposit down and it will be here at the end of February :)

If anyone is looking for one in the north east region, I have one available that I know of and can put you in contact. Super white TRD Pro, MSRP 44.8.

I have bought a ton of vehicles out of state, taxes should always be handled within the state in which you reside, at least that is how it works with AR residents. I've had several dealers tell me I will have to pay taxes in their state as well only to find out they were incorrect... Never assume a dealer knows what they are talking about. =)

My Cement arrived at port, in Portland, OR, on January 3rd and I'm still waiting on it...hopefully this weekend. They do final assemblies when they get to port and then, at least for me, I have my dealership doing a few add ons, so they need 2 days for that, BUT, that's when it actually gets up here to WA state.
I was wondering how long it took from the time you placed your order? I placed an order end of December and am being told that it should be built this week. I know they can't tell me yet when it will ship and arrive. Just trying to gauge timeframe. Thinking toward end of February. Mine will also be Cement.

So I am about a month away from placing my order. I have placed calls to numerous dealerships, all giving somewhat differing responses; some saying yes, we can order, it takes 6 weeks, only xx deposit, come on in! to others talking about allocation, waiting lists, can take up 3-4 months, etc. So obviously some of these guys can be pulling your leg and saying what they can to get you in the door, but what are did your experience fall in line with? I am in the Seattle area.
I am in a smaller area in Western Washington and fortunately was able to be first in line, just before Christmas. They were allocated one and since they hadn't ordered it I was able to select the color and options. I was told 6 to 8 weeks, maybe a little more. Talked to my sales person a couple days ago and thinks it could be building this week, but I don't have a confirmation on that. These TRDpro's are hot. I feel very lucky to have been able to have one on the way.

If you don't mind me asking, which dealer did you go with? i'm currently waiting as well. I was told mine would hit port 20th or 21st. Then expect 4-5 days before it gets shipped up here.

Thanks for answering that! In the excitement it is hard to be patient. But trying! I can see I'm not alone in this. First time experience for me to "order/wait" for a new vehicle. But it will be worth it! Saw a Tundra in Cement two days ago and it looks great. I know the 4Runner will be amazing!

This was in response to Drebels asking how often to contact the dealer once the order was placed? Someone said once a month, then a dealer responded don't, it won't make it get here any faster!
