4runner TRD Pro

If you don't mind me asking, which dealer did you go with? i'm currently waiting as well. I was told mine would hit port 20th or 21st. Then expect 4-5 days before it gets shipped up here.
hoping for you that it will be here for you next week! Exciting!

Yup. No idea why Toyota would black out everything but their logo. Lazy.

I don't even have my TRDP yet and already ordered:

-weathertech mats
-blacked out rear hatch emblem
-Shrockworks sliders

On the fence about:

-full led exterior and interior lighting change (anyone have this and like it?)
-sprintbooster since the gas pedal is so unresponsive.

Truck comes in late Feb....

Awesome man! Glad to see someone jump in and mod it without hesitation!

Love the plastidip. As easy as the instructions said when removing the scoop?

So easy, followed the instructions found here on the forum and was a breeze. For once my plastic dip turned out perfect. I typically half assed it before but wanted it perfect on my new truck and followed all the steps to do the job right.

Sick!!!!!! I am on the fence on the spidertrax. I know it looks better... but will it rub?

will let you know when I put them on. I will be running the stock tires for a while so I don't think it will be an issue, but you never know. Putting the spacers on next week stay tuned, or check out my progress on instagram cementtrdpro4runner.

I can vouch for the Shrockworks sliders. I got the ones with the dimpled tread plates so you get the step of running boards that work as sliders. I've had them for almost a year and they are rock solid.

Just a thought about the powder coating the roof racks. Fist of all, I totally agree they need to be back. I looked into powder coating and around Seattle it was pretty expensive. I removed the rack, took it apart, did a little prep and painted the rails with Rustoleum satin black spray paint, and they look great. the Satin black matches the rest of the back on the truck perfectly. Cost me a $7 and a couple of hours. The paint has held up fine now for 10 months.

my guy said he can do them for $85 total. I figured from a durability standpoint the powdercoat holds up much better than paint or even plasticdip. So for $85 I figured it would be worth it even though I could dip them or paint them for cheaper.

Nice! I did the dimpled tread plates as well. Glad to hear they work well. My girl wanted a step and we are planning on starting a family in the next few years so loading and unloading will be easier - you have any pics of yours?

Awesome. I'll follow that right now. I'm "gentlypfister" on insta. Excited to hear how these work.

$85 is a lot cheaper than I was being quoted. BTW, I like the backed out hood scoop. Now you need to do the fender flares so we can see what that looks like.

love your taillight mod, my painter wanted to black the whole light out but I actually like the look of the light with the exception of the chrome. So I think we will black out the top and leave the bottom, thanks for the inspiration. Hope I don't have the same issues with the spacers you did.

Quick question, do dealers take care of the taxes if out of state purchase? Might have found a earlier date for car but dealer is mentioning paying tax when I register car at home. Which is California
