4runner TRD Pro

My $0.02, xpel ppf is great, but it is extremely expensive. I understand we all love our trucks, but it's still just a truck. Hell, I even opted out of PPF on my M2 (and I love that car). It's irrational to spend over 5% of MSRP to protect the car's paint. Enjoy your truck, it will get paint chips, and that's ok. Consider them little badges of honor (that no one will ever really notice because they're looking at how badass these TRDPs look overall).

Good point. I was just quote at $1400 to do the front bumper, fenders, hood, and mirrors by the most reputable shop in St. Louis. I'm pretty sure it would be cheaper just to get the front end repainted in 5-10 years!

Remote Start

I know everyone seems to dislike the factory remote start because of the engine shutdown when unlocking to open the doors but... i really don't mind it. I don't have a garage to park in, and it's a good distance from my front door to my truck so I actually don't mind the factory remote start. On a cold morning i'll take starting the engine and letting it warm up from the comfort of my house any day.. really not that much of a pain in the ass to have to restart the engine once you get in the truck... seems lazy to complain about that!

You'd be wrong then. A good repaint of the hood, fenders, mirrors, frnt bumper would be much more than $1400.00.

I don't have a horse in this race because I don't have paint film, nor do I fret about minor paint imperfections on a truck.

ive never been more aggravated trying to get a vehicle in my entire life.
ive ordered cars many times from other manufactures with no problems and even the way i wanted with options, but toyota has to be stupid about it and not allow that, ive never heard of anything so stupid

sorry just venting, lol

You obviously haven't tried to order a Bugatti.

It's just a supply and demand issue.

UnicornPro17Cement is on a distinguished road
MY GARAGE
Brand new prototype revteck lift for pro
1.5 inch spacer in front and a small spacer in the back to keep the factory rake. which is not much.

We still get full extension and flex on all shocks and coils. "What we paid for"

Tire size suggested could possibly be a a 275/65/r18 -12 with no trimming and removing the front mudflap. Bassically something smaller then a 33" tires would be perfect so you can play with the numbers a little and your back spacing but to get all of your flex/body roll I wouldn't go bigger. Personal choice

I haven't been able to get tires on it yet this right after the lift but this Very very soon to be fixed. I'm thinking of either a toyo mt 275/65/r18 or a nitto ridge grappler 275/70/r18 -> the ridge grappler is a weaker tread tire so I should be able to get one size up but I'm probable getting the

"This lift will give it the look of a normal sr5 with a 3" suspension increase"

Here are some photos.

1- no lift
2- lift
3- spacer
4- rear spacer

Welcome to REVTEK SUSPENSION / 503-659-1650

Cement just hit the dealer this morning, so I need to make up my mind ....I was going to get the f(x) Pro wheel and was pretty much decided on the black but now was maybe going to the gunmetal. Matte Black is a no brainer (i know it looks good), the gunmetal on the other hand will be different but not sure how it's going to look with the Cement color and all the other black accents on the truck already....thoughts? ...yes, I know it's all subjective but someone may say something that I haven't thought of...one positive to the gunmetal is they should be easier to clean because of the finish vs the matte black.

First pic shows the black then gunmetal and then the silver ..then just the gunmetal and matte black

its not toyota, its the dealers that are optioning cars and telling people they cant get what they want. if the people buying would refuse to bend over and stop allowing the dealers to go in dry, things would be better. but apparently theres enough suckers out there that will take whatever they can get, pay over msrp, etc
my order is exactly what i went in to the dealer to purchase. i cant imagine paying money for things you don't want such as remote start, just because the dealer wants to sell it to you!

I found it on auto trader dot com. It came in that day. They were surprised that I found it since it was not in their inventory yet. I literally ran out the door as soon as they opened. I actually purchased an extra one they received. I beat out someone else by just minutes.

I'm so tired of black, I wanted the gunmetal for my Cement but the fiancee likes the black wheels so they're staying.

Looked at one today

Waaay more awesome in person. This one sold last night but I'm making offer on a order. Trading/upgrading from my 2010 Trail

Lucky, did you pay msrp or lower?

Just got word from my dealer that my TRD Pro should ship from Japan on 4/7!!! Does anyone else have one coming over on that ship? I'm guessing it will probably be mid-May before it makes it to Missouri.

Toy4run...I paid A grand above sticker...and that was massive haggling. I had a customer within ear shot of my negotiations and he was salivating at the chance that I might not get the truck. Smh
