Mine (Cement, protective film, rubber mats, remote start, roof rack bars, cargo cover, cargo tray, door edge guard) went like this:

Jan-13: Walked into dealer. He said he had a cement one coming with various options (that I didn't want), he said I couldn't change anything & that they get what they get in the Pro models. He said it would be in about Late February. He knocked off $1,000. I put down a deposit.

Jan-23: Vehicle production date

Feb-2: Boat left Japan

Feb-15: Boat arrived in Portland, OR

Mar-10: Scheduled date for added TRD options in port. Takes 6-8 hours/car

Mar-14: Date I was told car was worked on in port.

Mar-20: Loaded on truck

Mar-21: Arrived in Montana

Mar-22: I purchased. I really like it. Haven't bought a new car since 1987 (also a 4-Runner). It is still running good, but is showing its age.

I like the rubber floor mats, but am indifferent to the rest of the options. The remote start seems silly - I can't imagine using it.

The only complication was that somehow the VIN number changed sometime between January & March, this made me wonder what was going on, but it was a non-issue. It was just over 2-months from start to finish. Most of the above information is from Toyota (Portland) e-mails that the Dealer forwarded to me in late Feb/March when I was asking where the car was.

Should I go with the rubber mats or go for an aftermarket like the husky? Do the rubber ones seem pretty durable and do they have a TRD PRO badge on them or are they just black?

I got the film installed on mine. They do install it at the port. Along with the hood and around the top of the front fenders it also has about a 3" strip that runs along the rockers and up part of the rear fender. You really cant see it unless looking for it. If you look close it has a little semi-transparent sombrero logo on it on the corners.

I waited for 4 months to get the truck. Have been waiting 2 for the Gobi rack to haul my canoe and camping gear. Guessing Ill wait another 1 or two for that. We will see what comes first, the rack or license plates. Also, the precision LED premium interior light kit makes all of the difference. I highly recommend it.

Is the precision LED premium light kit aftermarket? I don't remember that being an option when I ordered mine. Do you have an examples of what that looks like and how much was it?

Found One

For anyone still looking for a TRD Pro and can't find one. I saw one at Battlefield Toyota in Culpeper, VA on my way home the other day. No idea what they're asking but it was parked out front.

Installed the Cornfed 2.25 front and 2.00 rear spacer lift kit on my pro.
Before and after. Had to take the cargo roof basket off, unfortunately it was hitting the garage door..

How much did this cost you? Does it void any warranty on the truck? Is it gong to affect and off-roading? Thanks for the help

makes me feel a little guilty hearing there's a few people that have ordered and are waiting on theirs.

i took the family to Cracker Barrel a few weeks ago, which was about a 1/4 mile from the local dealership. decided to run over just for kicks. as we were slow rolling by the Tacoma's looking to see if they by any chance had any MT, preferably a TRD Off Road, my wife looked down the row and spotted a sold sticker in the front window of a Super White TRD Pro 4runner.

the only downside i felt to our Red Trail edition was that it was red, not White, and it didn't have a moonroof. so of course the sales guy came up and asked if we had questions. we asked if it was actually sold since it was still sitting out front.

he went and checked, came back and said nope its still for sale. asked for my DL and came back again and tossed me the keys and said take it out and have fun, see if you like it.

basically it took a couple days of haggling, but we bought it. kept our payments the same. ive been extremely happy with it so far the last couple weeks. just want to level it, hopefully soon.

Congrats, I see your in nj, did you get it from a dealer in nj?
i got it from glen Toyota, I had it ordered with Towne (and still do), but Toyota will not accept the order from them. Glen might be able to get another, they have other trd off roads, but this is their only pro for the year so far

I finally may have one... at least i'm being told it's mine. The second dealer I contacted months ago called me and offered it to me.

Production date was 3/31. It's loaded with stuff I don't want and the dealer is acting like they don't know if they can remove/change some port installed options. If they're unwilling to thats ok.

I mentioned dealer daily to my sales rep and he didn't know what I was talking about. I don't want to be pushy but want to try to steer my sales rep towards building it the way I want if possible.

Question to all of you that picked up your new Pros.. do you miss not having a moon roof? BTW I'm jealous as I don't have mine yet!!

Had no interest in the sun/moon roof at all. Have had them in plenty of other cars and mostly kept the interior cover closed to keep the glare from the sun off the dash. The reduced headroom compared to a vehicle without a sunroof is another reason why I don't miss a sunroof. To each their own,but for me there were no capabilities the sunroof offered that enhanced my driving pleasure with this truck.

Where did you get the recovery hooks?
I got mine at 4 wheel parts. They are smittybilt, and were 12.99 each I think. I added zip ties so they can't be (easily) removed by dirtbags.

x2 here. The wife really prefers a sun/moon roof, but that all changed once I showed her that the back window rolls down! At I also had a vehicle with a leaky sunroof once before, and the mold caused by that problem is something I never want to experience again.

the sales rep probably doesnt have access to dealer daily. have the sales manager open it up and give you answers. i'm not sure how accurate it is though. dealer daily showed my port arrival date as 3/15 which was correct. it had no updates until saturday it said processing scheduled for 4/3 which is of course today. now this afternoon the dealer is showing it as in transit. it got processed and loaded on a truck all within a couple hours??? doubt it. still fun to track it though!

I know your not asking me :-)....but i actually am getting mine from Jay Wolfe in St. Louis....It actually just arrived last friday morning. They said it's the only one they have received and they don't have anymore allocated to them as of now.

Jay Wolfe of West county in Saint Louis actually received a Cement TRDP a couple months ago. It was on their website for a few days.

So they told you that you are getting their only TRDP allocation? Thats strange.

Was your TRDP listed on cars.com or the Jay Wolfe website? I know Jay Wolfe of Kansas City had 2 cements.

From what I was told....It was allocated to another client several months ago and the client changed his mind on the color so I stepped in and took that slot. i don't see any reason why they would BS....they have actually been very easy to work with (they have kept me notified of the progress through build and transportation)...very much unlike some of the dealers out in my next of the woods.

SR said they're asking $5K over MSRP. It includes several options (eg. remote start, door edge guards).

It sounds like they already did BS you if they told you are getting their only TRDP allocation?

What color are you getting?
