4runner TRD Pro

LOL man just find someone here who has a Trail or Trail Premium or whatever they call them now that I forgot, swap cars, pocket the money and modify the mother. Use kbb or something. Deal or no deal. It all boils down to how much anyways.

Hell if you where in Chicago I might take you up on it, I can deal with stock TRD Pro, I am just so tired of the sunroof, it really sucks if you are sitting in the second row, my kids are getting tall, my son is going be taller than me some day. I might even break down and suffer a Trail Premium :)

Its not like they are Chryslers. :)
 
Hey some of us were actually that stoopid to really consider a Chrysler.... specifically those White/Black trim Jeep Grand Cherokees...:smow:
 
my truck got delayed again....two weeks behind scheduled port delivery as of today and now its pushed back another week or so....I wonder if I have a truck inbound at all lol
 
New member here - hopefully I will be getting my Cement TRD Pro this weekend if everything works out. To make a long story short - Took me about 2 weeks from placing a deposit to delivery.

I don't want to reveal just yet until the car is in my possession. When I get it I will explain my process and some tips. The tips are well documented in this thread so it's really just a rehash. It boils down to taking a leap of faith with a reputable dealer and a lot of luck.

If you have a deposit on the truck, and it's no secret, just tell him

That you will have to ask your dealer.. It's hard for us to say. You'll have to just keep calling around. The dealer I got my pro from, they didn't even request one. District just assigned a few into the inventory.

I think you beat me to this one by a few hours. I sent a request on availability on cars.com to the dealer and they said it was available, but I was in meetings until noon. He left me two messages on email and on my phone saying it will probably be gone by noon. I called him at 12:07 and he said it was gone. doh! but, he did say he has another one coming in next week, so he is going to let me know if that one is available. Said it could be the same story where the people who were on the list back out. I'm hoping. Otherwise, I'm on Mountain States list and they are estimating it will be 3-6 months before I get one from them. They are asking MSRP but don't have any DH&Prep, so it is about $500.00 cheaper. Not sure if I should just wait for them or not. I like white the best, and the one coming in next week at the Boulder dealer is Cement. I will take a cement, and the fact that I might be able to get it next week makes me think I'll just take that one if I can.
 
Do y'all have roof racks for your TRD pros? I am about a month in waiting for mine and wondering if I should order one now so I don't have to wait. I have heard great things about the Gobi racks but don't know if I can justify $1600 on a rack... what are y'alls thoughts?

Yeah, just picked it up this morning. I was on the waiting list at Mountain States as well. I think I was currently 4th so maybe you will move up, hopefully you are next in line.

I ordered a Gobi rack The first week of March. I called to add some awning brackets to my order earlier this week and they said I could expect it to be completed at the end of May. They gave me an 8-12 week wait and it looks like it's going to take the entire 12 weeks. TRDP is supposed to arrive at the end of April. Thought I'd have the rack before the truck... guess I was wrong.

Checked Dealer today

Was told the TRD Pro will become widely available in the next couple of months . Toyota is removing production limits on it.
