If you placed an ordered 3 weeks ago, be prepared to wait. According to the dealerships I have talked to, the wait time is currently anywhere from 6-8 months. This is what Toyota is telling the dealerships when they try to place an order and when the orders will be fulfilled.

Yeah my dealer told me 2-3 months, 4 months at max... I know the owner and it's definitely not going to be 6-8

good luck. i didnt want to take my chances and wait 6-8 months. by then all allocations may made and sold. i spent 3 days calling a bunch of dealerships all along the north east and got one in a little over two weeks.

Why is that grill like that?

If real, not sure if it will last. I was checking carmax for TRDP almost daily, and not once a 4Runner showed up.

Someone probably swapped grill/wheels/floor mats before trading it in. Probably what I would have done if I were trading into CarMax!

And the suspension was also swapped from the looks of the rake on it.

anybody with the black toyota garnish can chime in here...but wondering about black touch up paint for the garnish. I had my valance wrapped with film so no worries there but when I tried to get the upper garnish wrapped, realized the TOYOTA letters don't adhere well to the film. So leaving the garnish unwrapped and exposed to chips, etc...

so nobody? anyone?

My guess is it's black plastic through and through not painted. Sure doesn't look like it's got paint on mine

I have a new one in a box it it is black plastic front and back, so if you do touch up you will be better off just painting the whole thing

Not sure what you would be touching up. It's solid black plastic. Any dings and it would still be a black ding.

just noticed something weird on the way to work. listening to the radio while driving, the volume goes up and down on its own. i've had a car before that adjusted volume based on speed to account for road noise but it never went up and down while just sitting at a light. i have not touched any settings yet so maybe i'll start there but was hoping someone knew an easy fix for this

dont know if the 4runner has that setting, but i've seen on one of my other cars where theres a setting to have volume change based on your speed, to compensate for road noise.
