can you post a pic of the whole truck from the side? any drilling or did those bolt up using factory mounts? was set on n-fabs but those look really good!
will they protect from door dings do you think?

They are bolt on, and do sit out enough to protect doors. You should check out their website and the C4 group buy. Lots more photos there.

I just missed the cutoff for the last group buy, but hope to get on the next round. It close a few weeks ago so I would assume C4 is backed up on orders.

This is the best I have of a side shot right now. A couple spots required drilling but mostly involves bolts at factory locations. From the average vehicle it will protect from dings, but, if a bro dozer decides to get you it won't stop that. Another thing to consider is cost, after the cost of the sliders and coating I'm about $1000 in on them.

My estimated delivery has been bouncing back and forth between 1 week and 2 weeks! What status are you confirmed in right now?

I'm stuck in rail departure.

Production Date: 3/13 (Actual 3/13)
Vessel Departure: 3/23 (Actual 3/23)
Vessel Arrival: 4/7 (Actual 4/7)
Plant/Port Process: 4/12 (Actual 4/12)

The rest is estimated:

Shipment to Dealer: 4/14
Dealer Arrival: 4/13-4/17

I'm hoping for delivery next week but who knows with the possible delays!

Getting close! Hang in there!

I have the same color TRDP and ordered the same sliders. Glad to know how nice they'll look in advance!

Interesting. Looks about the same as mine, except I had no airbag deployment... Must have hit it just right :lookout:

Jesus - glad everything's okay. That's ridiculous to see how easy it came off in an accident like yours.

Had a 3rd gen where I drove into a brick mailbox approx. 30-35mph at nighttime and this is what happened to the body. It ended up being totaled due to the year of the 4Runner / mileage that was on it

not sure of details regarding your accident but as you can see with the 3rd gen, it handled the impact very well

Vehicles nowadays are designed to crumple, shatter and dissipate energy away from the main cage surrounding the occupants. The unfortunate result is costlier repairs but at the expense of protecting occupants.

I walked out of the office to this yesterday after work. Looks like old Lucille made a friend while I was working! :bravo:

I recognize that office now! Visit it all the time... small world. My TRD is sitting at the CO office ;) Yours was definitely a motivation to get mine!
