4runner TRD Pro

I had a tundra crewcab, and I loved that beast. Driving it wasn't bad, it was parking it that drove me nuts. Needless to say, I traded it in for a 4runner. However, if I could have kept it, I would have. It really is a great truck. Just know what you are getting into, remember you have to park that thing every day. Toyota markets it as a 1/2 ton, but dimensions/size makes it way bigger than most 1/2 ton trucks.

If you build a 17 pro online or through your local dealer, are you guaranteed to get it ?

You're really the only one that can answer this question. If you think that you will have even the slightest bit of regret for not waiting for a cement, then I would just wait. If you'd be happy years from now with the red one, then go that direction. I have seen both in person, and both are amazing. I'm pretty sure you will be happy with whichever color you end up getting.

You guys are right.

I passed on the red, that is what I want, Cement Grey. No compromises.

Hopefully a lead I'm working on can get me it this week. If not my 50 dollar offer still stands. PM me a contact if you cancelled an order or deposit for a Cement TRD PRO and if the deal happens I will Paypal you 50 bucks.

Keep your 50 and start cold calling dealerships. Autotrader.com - enter your search terms 4runner trd pro etc etc and start calling the dealerships. I did this and got my TRDP in 3 weeks time.

Tundra vs 4Runner

I also traded my Tundra for a TRDP. I loved that truck, but the current Tundra is old now. It is massively out-classed by the competition today. Test drive an F150 or Sierra. Toyota reliability is better, but until they come out with the next gen tundra, I wouldn't buy one.

'17 4Runner TRD Pro Alignment

Just a head's up...drove my new TRD Pro back from the dealer the other day and noticed the alignment was off and steering wheel was not centered (approx 20 deg off) when tracking straight. At the dealership now and they confirmed it's out of alignment.

Not sure if the TRD Pro suspension is installed at the factory, or port installed, or if this makes a difference, but for those who own or are about to own a new one, get it up to freeway speed and verify you're alignment isn't off like mine was.

Looks like I will be getting mine this week.

Just a heads up if you are taking delivery of a new car not just a TRD Pro in general request that the dealer not drill holes for the front license plate. It's one of my pet peeves.

Or slap their dealership sticker on it. That's my pet peeve.

I thought I would change up this thread from a shopping thread some after all isn't this what our Pro's are for.

Well I just test drove and put a deposit on a TRDP today. Local dealers said they would put me on a waiting list and was fourth in line. Called a dealer in WV who said he could get one but not guarantee color. Got on the old interweb and searched out 500 miles and found exactly what I was looking for sitting on a lot. Called them up and it was actually available.

Once I got there today they told me it had been on the lot for 13 days already. I am paying msrp OTD. About a $1400 discount. Didn't seem this dealership realized how popular these are? Can't wait to pick it up this weekend.

They take out stock and install Bilstein setup at port.

Nice find! MSRP is a steal, as silly as that sounds. Even more ridiculous is that it sat for almost two weeks.
