4runner TRD Pro

Tinted the front windows with Formula One Pinnacle 15; they match the rears perfectly and hide the factory green hue very well. Very happy with this selection!

Nice what % and did you do windshield ?

Look nice. I went the waiting route. Put my deposit down and waited almost 7 months for mine to swim over the ocean. I originally ordered a dark grey to match my other vehicle back in October of 2016. It turned out they are not making that color for '17. Had to take the super white or get back on the wait list for another year since it was the last of the dealer's allotment of the year. Paid full sticker..first time ever for a vehicle, but given the long wait list. Anyway, the super white turned out great looking. Will definitely tint the front windows to match the back.

GrayC

Truck is finally on a ship. Ordered in DEC and just allocated. Must be location? ETA at port in June and here in JUL. anyone know if this jives with this VIN...JTEBU5JR6H121CJ38 ?

It's 15%, I was afraid it was going to be too dark since I usually go with 35% but the shop recommended 15 too match the back. It's perfect. Not too dark, not too light. Unfortunately I did not do the front. The shop took me in without an appointment, and only had time for the front side windows.

What running boards do you have? You happy with them?

They are the RCI Sliders with tread plates. In my opinion, these are hands down one the best sliders available. They angle up, have a small bump on the rear, and they hug the vehicle. 100% bolt on to factory holes, no drilling. I'll edit this thread and add a pic later.

Agents never pay MSRP, but sometimes we have to make an exception.

Tracking Down 2017 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro in Cement

A colleague shared with me that a customer wanted a 2017 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro in Cement. Apparently, there is a 3-month waiting list to buy one, and it's selling from $5k to $15k over MSRP. Toyota is limiting the production.

I work at a company that has access to sales data so I did a bit of research to see how hard it is to find this car. Conclusion: over 60% of the major markets have zero on dealer's lots. Furthermore, the average day on lots is 14 days. I put the data online: https://www.carjojo.com/toyota-4runner-trd-pro/ including where to find them. If you have one good for you!

Nice! I did 25% up front with 35% in the rear. I think it matches pretty well, and happy with my results. Yours looks clean too!

Nice! It's a strange feeling to pay MSRP and feel like its a deal. Mods? Plans?

Yeah I had pretty much come to the realization that I was most likely going to pay MSRP for a Pro.....then I found a dealer who was willing to take 2k off msrp and throw in the OEM all weather mat kit since it took longer than the 6-8 weeks I was originally quoted. Just have to keep looking and calling and looking and calling some more until you find one that will give you a good deal.

Cheers,

Chris

Mountain States Toyota in Colorado JUST called me saying they had an allocation available. They specifically saved it for me, and there might be a waitlist already, but it wouldn't hurt to call and ask.

Why does 14 days sound so high?
