4runner TRD Pro

I feel everyones trade in and finding a PRO pain. I want to pay it forward, and at least put out a lead for anyone looking. Greenville Toyota in NC had a Cement Pro at MSRP this morning and so did Rocky Mount Toyota in NC. Goldsboro Toyota, also in NC, had a white Pro last night. All of these were on the lot or just being pulled off the truck. I am guessing that North Carolina got a delivery of PROs? None of these dealers were expecting these to come in. One of the dealers said they have worked there for over three years and they have received more this year than any other. I was working with Jonathan at Goldsboro and yesterday he was willing to due $1,000 off MSRP. I have not received permission to share the other contacts. IF anyone gets one please post pics and experience!

Thank you for providing this information. Rocky Mount sold their cement earlier today. Greenville Toyota wants about $47k for the cement.

Waldorf Toyota in Maryland has 2 cement in stock on the lot but they want $48k for each.

I'm not willing to pay a markup to msrp so I passed.

Just got my Cement PRO and I put a 10 year - 125k Toyota Plat Service Agreement. IMO it is well worth it (Crawl Control - Multi-Terrain Computers) I would rather not have to deal with paying for any of the multitude of computers on this great rig. Yes it is a Toyota and I know it will last a long long time "but" things can break and if Toyota will pay for them for ten years I'm in !

So I have been offered a 10/125k platinum warranty for my 4R Pro...price is $600. He said it was a family and friends price. I usually don't buy the extended warranties, but that price seems like a great price. My wife bought a Highlander back in Mar and we paid $1400 for the same coverage.

Would you be willing to pay for something that breaks in 9 years :wow: Tank or no tank things still can go wrong !

Valid point. I honestly won't keep it that long but if you are and the price is as cheap as referenced below then why not for peace of mind. I figured it would be around 2k.

600 is pretty cheap. Is it transferable?

I just called as I live in Las Vegas. I currently have a cement due in the first part of aug from an Idaho dealer. I called to see if I could speed up my wait. Got a lady named Fonda from sales on the phone. She told me it was 7K above MSRP. I attempted to tell her not to go looking for the info because I had one in order and wasn't paying their premium and just got hung up on.

Fairly typical for them in my experience. When I bought my other Toyotas I have given Findlay a shot at making a sale and have repeatedly been disgusted with their lack of service. Apparently the people in the Las Vegas valley are willing to put up with it because they are a rather large dealership. Anyway, I wouldn't waste your time with them if you don't absolutely have too.

BTW, I did call back and talk to a supervisor and rather than an apology I got an excuse and an explanation of how nice of a lady she is.

Has anyone used this lift kit? I'm picking my pro up next week and want to get it lifted. Will this affect the ride at all? I don't want to do anything that will affect the pro suspension but would like to have it lifted. Thanks!

Check out this thread starting on page 2 where this lift is mentioned. A lot of people seemed to order this kit after that. It seems most are happy with it and I haven't really seen any complaints. The Toytec kit or the spacer kit like from Cornfed Suspension are the main options if you don't want to complete change out the TRD Pro suspension.

This is the Cornfed:

Thanks so much! These are both so affordable. How much do you think the labor will run me to have a shop do one of these?

So finally I picked up a cement 4RP.. Last Tuesday night I checked Cars.com like I have done for the last month multiple times a day. A cement pro was newly listed and the dealer was located only an hour and half away(Columbus, OH). Sent a request as usual to see if was available/the status, etc. I didn't hear anything the next morning, so I called the dealer to see what was up. Talked with a really nice internet sales guy(Josh) and he said there was actually two coming and both were already sold/reserved to one of the senior sales associates. He ordered one for his wife and the other for him self.
An hour later he calls me as he was driving to work, and explains the whole story behind both of them. It ended up his wife didn't want anything to do with the 4RP, so he was 98% sure he was going to sell the other one. I got very lucky, and was in the right place at the right time. There were three sales guys not very happy because they wanted dibs on it. Hossain Saadat...Senior Sales Associate @ Toyota West, Columbus OH was truly a pleasure to work with. From my trade in value for my Taco Pro to offering to give me the friends and family price for the 8yr, 100k platium warranty..$660(smoking deal). The finance guy did all the paperwork in his office then Hossain brought it out to his desk and I signed the papers....No BS, no high pressure sales tactics. I was in and out the door within an hour. Both 4R's landed at the dealer around 10:30am, and I was back home with my new baby by 3pm. Just a great day, and I am truly in love with this thing. It's my first time ever driving one until today, and from all the reviews, videos, etc, I must say it's all that and more.... The Pro I have a deposit on in the Pittsburg, PA area is now up for grabs....As far as I know there is no one on a waiting list, so PM me for the details....That cement 4R should be landing in a few weeks. The last update I got was that it arrived into port on 7/6.
