Ordered my TRD PRO today in black
Paid MSRP + TTL and they threw in the predator step boards with door edge guards. I think thats a fair deal.
Now, I'm playing the waiting game. Do you guys mind sharing how long you waited for yours? I assume 3-4 months..?

It all depends on how many the dealer you ordered yours from gets a year and how many people are in front of you. I waited 7 months for mine.

If they’re allotted 2, that would be they get one in every 6 months or so.

I’m assuming demand is different in each state ? I’m in MI and I’ve been to 2 dealers and both told me same thing about 3mo. No big deal to order. BUT I never see pros around me. (Only once or twice ever) so maybe demand and the model in general maybe being not a hot seller by me.

I followed Autotrader for a couple of months, prior to finding mine last year. Not sure where you are in Michigan, but a dealer in Grand Rapids had several over that period. They have a white one in stock now and the dealer in Benton Harbor has a blue one in stock.
The much-maligned remote start is a dealer installed option, parts are $400.

Wow! Thanks. Yeah I’m about 45-1hr from Grand Rapids.
Could definitely get from them. Side note I hate how Toyota has their
Car search set up on the website. It doesn’t let you see what each dealer has.
I just checked inventory and they don’t show it in Grand Rapids

Again, a port-installed option. There are two choices, I went with the "Predator" boards, which is the version with two distinct step areas.
I ordered mine in mid October of last year. At the time, the dealer said probably around November/December time frame. Finally a couple of weeks ago, they called and said it will be in the end of February or early March of this year so 4-5 months for me.

Holy.. well if that's the case I will cancel my order if it nears the release of the 2019 and wait a few more months for the 2019.
The manager told me 1-3 weeks for allotment request, then another 1-2 months to build.hmm....
I suggest searching online. I searched auto trader for “2018 TRD Pro 4Runner” and got 8 results in Texas area. Dealers advertise online also for new cars. I checked out a white one nearby, and then went to see Calvary blue an hour away. They have an internet sales dept that handles all this. They made me an appt. I bought the blue which was given to the dealer by a local auto show it was in. The white one was a cancelled order.
I wanted the white one since a friend has a black 2015 TRD Pro and I didn't like the blue color. The dealer did say they were getting a black one very soon but I wanted the white one with really no add-ons so I decided to wait.

I was talking to my salesman that sold me my 2017 TRD Pro the other day. I’m in Pa. He told me that they cannot get in any 4runner Pro’s. He said they just did 2 off road 4runners and put the TRD mods on it. He is not sure why they cannot get them. I know there is only so many allocated to the dealerships.

im not sure what is going on . Here in Canada I was told from many dealers that I cant get one and its impossible. Then I finally was able to land a 2018 trd pro on order and the salesman told me it is like 1 of 3 in Canada. Is this true?I do have to wait like 2 months for it and I had to give a deposit of course.
