4runner TRD Pro

Option to remove? ha

Maybe just track down a used '15-'18 Pro.

I had hoped the ‘19 Pro would make the sunroof an option like the slide out rear deck, not standard equipment. Big question mark for me is will the Fox TRD Pro Suspension be better than the ‘18 Bilstein TRD Pro Suspension??? We put the Bilstein sourced TRD Pro Suspension on my girlfriends ‘17 SR5 4WD so it rides just like a ‘17 Pro and I love the ride quality. Anyone have an opinion on how the Fox TRD Pro setup will be? Thanks Tom

Yep. I paid $44k for mine.
For what it is that's expensive I think.

No way I'd ever pay over $47k for one.
East Coast dealers were getting $5k over sticker, you'd have to want one pretty badly to pay 50 or more.

It's the same, with a different brand of suspension on it.

It's because of the Fox suspension

And the out of place roof rack :D

There is no way the Fox suspension is worth $3k more than the previous Bilstein setup. This is all just inflated by the market and demand. If you told me they were going with adjustable Fox coilovers with DSC adjusters and new upper control arms then maybe they'd have an argument. I have no doubts people will be flocking towards the new TRD Pro lineup. The price was already high and now it's ridiculous. You could get a TRD-ORP for about $10K less and that buys you a lot of mods.

I would agree, simply because I have Fox 2.5 DSC's all the way around and I paid a bit under 3k for all four. So the full Bilstein setups is on sale right know for what $700? (lol giving them away) So that says to me the want $3700 for a slightly less adjustable Fox setup, huh. They figuring that fugly FJ rack is worth $1000? Pfft get a full EeziK9/Prinzu/Gobi/Baja for that price.

...and the thing STILL doesn't come in green! :D

Does it come with some cool stickers and a flat brimmed hat too?
It's because they know they can jack the price up and some will still buy it.

I could care less about a sunroof, I never open the one in my Acura.
The JBL is still a shitty, factory stereo.

I just can't see over $3K in added value there.

I had a 17 Taco Pro with the Fox suspension as well a T/X Baja Taco with Bilstein's on it. The 17 with the Fox rode a lot better then Baja. Much smoother on the road. That is one good thing on the newer Pro Taco's. The Fox suspension is descent. I still prefer the ride on my old 17 Taco Pro to my TRD4RP.

I am cherishing my decision to get my 18 cav blue TRDP more each day and with each reply on this thread.

It was either get one of the last if not the last allotted CBs or wait for a black 19 without knowing the price markup was going to happen. No voodoo for me.

I'm cool with Voodoo but I think I like Cavalry better. If I had the option I would take an 18 Cavalry, but I'm sure ill be stoked when my 19 finally gets here

That's one of my fav colors. I never thought I'd like it until I saw in person.

If you want to lift it more, here are our kits for the pros.

5th gen lift & leveling kits at Burtman Industries, ON SALE!

Again, just so you guys know, can make any custom size you want too :)

One of the most confusing things is that we have a Cavalry blue PRO sitting in the parking structure at HQ with the import sticker still on the window. Just sitting there, doesn't look like its moved. Manager lease car maybe, ordered by someone that is Japan for a while maybe. Not sure, just seems like a waste

Hey Jason. Currently running your 1" spacer up front on my pro to level it. Ready for more and bigger tires..

Is that calvary in the pic 2/1.5 on 285's?

I've been planning for the last 7-8 months for a new T4RP but wasn't sure if I'd pull the trigger for an '18 or a '19. When I found out the '19 color was the old FJ color, along with an inevitable price increase with the fox system, and the year model build out closing in with starting prices coming down to msrp, I pulled the trigger and am glad I did.

Waiting on one of the last 2018 Cavalry Blue models in TX to arrive at my dealer now. Super excited!

There are a few in dealer inventories right now in the state. In fact when we were looking a few weeks back, it was the most common color Pro we came across that was available for sale. I think the color is cool but there's no way I could live with it and my other half absolutely hates it, she calls it Papa Smurf Blue.

As of last week there were at least two in Houston and two in San Antonio, I have no idea how many were available in the DFW area, but I know there were some up that way as well. We found a black one and took it home for a good deal and momma is happy so all is well that ends well. Good luck in your search.
