4runners lacking off-road

Hypothesis: OP is this Hooters waitress still bitter about receiving a free Yoda years ago, and has consequently been trolling Toyota forums in a resentful rage ever since.

The area codes match up. Seriously though, why is this thread still happening?

The only mud you'll see me powering through is a hot chicks anus after the dance club. Not in my 4Runner though, I have respect for her.

This is about the most mud I've been in, and not really interested in doing it again. Took me 5 car washes, and about an hour on the creeper with a scraper to get the mud aka concrete out.

I had 31" all terrains on (General Grabber AT2's) and a 3" OME lift. The Jeep guys were quite impressed.

I find it rather silly that the o.p. Keeps going on and on about "serious mud". Mud bogging can be accomplished with the cheapest block lift kit on the planet that would break after short use on a real trail. Look at all the so called "bro dozers" out there and you will see cheap block lifts on all of them. The kind that pop out when the suspension articulates any more than a few degrees. I've been there and done that, mud bogging is the fastest and dumbest way to toast a truck, especially an auto trans, and it proves nothing about how "off road capable" a vehicle is. My guess is this dude is in his late teens and doesn't have a clue what real wheeling is all about.

Now I remember why I don't check this forum much any more.

No kidding. This place used to be full of threads about off roading and useful and ingenious mods. Now it constant questions about plastidip and build threads that consist of a bug deflector and and some black wheels.

You mean you don't like the thread where a 4runner is turned into an RV with some strange butterfly net, recycled styrofoam and cardboard?

I've slept in the 4Runner quite a few nights on my trips to Moab and back, so I actually think that fits in with the ingenious mods I mentioned. If that member had included some crappy cellphone photos it would have been Antman worthy!

Or "will these tires rub," or "hey, these shitty LED bars are WAY cheaper than Rigid... are they just as good?"
