I stand corrected. I wonder when they started building them in Canada and what other models they build there?

Lexus RX models have been manufactured in Canada since its second generation (2003), not all of them though, they were also manufactured in Japan.

And still the same thing, if the VIN begins with the letter J it's manufactured in Japan.

Lexus ES350 is made in a Georgetown KY along with the Avalon and Camry.

Sequoia, Sienna and Highlander made in Princeton IN

Tacoma and Tundra made in San Antonio
Tacoma also made in the Baja California plant which is Mexico
4Runner and most all Lexus made in Japan along with RAV4 hybrid
Corolla is made in Mississippi and Canada
RAV4, Lexus RX made in Canada
Toyota 86 made along side Subaru’s in Japan.

I think that covers pretty much everything.

Really? Those are really limited numbers to dedicate to a production line for a vehicle that isn't drastically different. I could be wrong.

They also build other Tacoma’s in the SA Texas plant as well as the Tundra. The Mexican plant has been used to boost production the last few years.

Sorry, you are right. I just checked my wife's BMW X3 VIN and it starts with a "5" which is USA. I know the X3's are built here.
My BMW motorcycle starts with a "W".

All current X-Series SUVs are made in Spartanburg, SC. This is the global site for manufacturing.
