I'm talking about the things like this that the Tahoe's had. The bottom black plastic chin spoiler that basically takes away a bunch of ground clearance, but presumably makes it more aerodynamic for better gas mileage. The new Tacoma's appear to have something similar. I'm not a big fan of that chin spoiler on that 4Runner either.
Wow, those pictures came out great. I miss the sunsets from out west. What kind of camera are you using? I could never get mine to take anything close to that good. My phone seems to take better pictures than my camera, and my camera is supposed to be a fairly decent one too...

I'm using a Nikon D90. There are some situations where my iPhone 6+ actually takes a better photo as well.

That's a much nicer camera then I have haha. I wish I had a really nice one like that. I really liked my old Samsung camera, but it broke so I replaced it with a Cannon and I hate it. It doesn't take very clear pictures and my Galaxy S4 seems to pick up colors better and more vividly.

I've always dug those short swing arms on the savage bumpers. I've also been curious about how their latching mechanism is set up. Would you mind taking some pictures of the latch setup front and back?
I can tell (generally) how it works from your pictures, but I'm guessing that bolt just to the left of the license plate is securing some sort of rubber stop that prevents the arm from rattling against the bumper when in the closed position. Is that correct?
BTW: The retrofit on the headlights looks Awesome! That's with a capital "A". And the LC wheels look pretty sharp in bronze. I'm looking forward to seeing some overall shots once you get it all put together.

I'll take some photos in couple minutes. Basically it's as you described. But there is also a piece of plastic that basically slides over part of the bumper, with a little bit of force, and that prevents it from rattling.
Thanks! I'm really liking the look of the truck now. My next mod is a regear and front locker. Then 35's.

My sister was not having anything to do with that haha. That bug is a piece. I replaced the starter a few weeks ago, it fought me the entire time.

So in this picture you can see the latch handle on the right. On the left you can see a small rubber stopper and above that is a piece of plastic that hits the strike plate on the bumper itself.

I think my plan is to rebuild and revalve them myself. I'm looking forward to the learning experience. I'll sell my Toytec's after. I only paid $100.
Probably going to change spring rates too.
