Man you put some miles on that thing quick. Must get expensive except that you post some great MPG's with the skinnies. Driving patterns going to be the same with 35's or are you going to have travel tires?

Hopefully I will be driving less, but I won't know until next semester. I've driven over 16,000 miles since August of last year. I wish I could have travel tires. I just have no where to store them in AZ. I might keep my 5-stars just for that reason.

That's why I keep my Michelin tires on and don't go to 33 or 35.
Sure it might look funny but this 13 mpg really hurts sometimes. I'm thinking about taking my body lift off and back to a stock or plate bumper to help with aerodynamics.

I wheel too much to rock Michelin's. I'm gonna run a 35" MTR, then regear in the fall. Then once they wear out I'll run a Toyo M/T

Congrats! Ya I don't drive a 4Runner for the MPG, so I'm just gonna take what I can get. I drive like a grandma as it is anyways. Hopefully I can take some money out of my mod fund and pick up a motorcycle.

Thanks. Should be a fun summer. I'm going to be working with a project manager for KB Homes. Good experience and should get me enough bank to dump money into the rear suspension haha

Oh yeah. That's what my wife and I have. The 4Runner (her dd), this wr426 street legal (my dd) and a corolla with a bad engine.

That's actually what I'd like to do. I'm kind of hoping I can find somebody to trade. That would be perfect for towing and camping so we'll see how it plays out.

I'm thinking I'm gonna buy a 2016 Tundra Diesel when I graduate and build it as an expo rig. I want a full size bad haha.

Longterm I would love to do that as well, but short term, i'll go with an 05/06 tundra double cab with a v8. I'll run a gooseneck trail and make due. I just can't justify a loan for a car/truck. Cash or nothing.

Oh I 100% agree. The exact reason I haven't boughten a motorcycle yet. I don't want to deal with a payment. A tundra would be so nice. I have a huge list of things the 4Runner needs this summer, mostly small things, to make it a little nicer to drive around all the time.

I know the feeling. I thrashed my stock skid to the point that it actually messes with my power steering rack so that definitely gets to be taken care of. On the bright side, I'm putting the pickup back together today so now the runner can be torn into and fixed :rofl:
What are you planning to do with it?

-My headlights are aimed terribly, need to fix that asap.
-Windsheild wipers could use some paint
-Rebuild rear shocks
-Need rear bumpstops
-My Uniball slugs are backing out slightly, so I have to press those back in
-Clean the interior and add some sound deadening
-My skid plate hits my LCA at full droop, so I have to clear that a little bit.
-I'm over due for an oil change
-Need an air filter
-Tighten my steering rack and grease it or something because it clunks.

I should probably do all of those :bolt: Except for the uniballs (don't have them) and oil change. I'm on top of that shit :girl:
Let me know when you do rear bumpstops. I have a set that I never put on the runner. I don't think i'll use them on the pickup, so i'd ship them to you on the cheap.
