4Running Daily's Build Thread

LOL wheelin in the driveway I see.

Enjoy cutting! Those things are HUGE, your 4Runner looks like it could use a little more height.

It won't look like that after I cut the fender [emoji106]

Mmmmmm 35s. Those MT/Rs are looking sweet! Just gotta fix those rubbing issues now... oh well, more projects?!

Exactly. I mainly did this because I was bored with my current setup. It looks badass as well

So is your dad trying to get it back yet? I'm sure he never thought it would look this good,lol...

Get your #ss out here and come wheel some time. You have a place to crash any time.

Looks great! I wish I could afford to drive on 35's. I drive way too much for the hit in milage and power to do it. I would wait until you get LT to really clearance it out. You'll end up doing it twice otherwise.

Now those calipers really look small.

Good work with the grinder, looks much better. I would haven't had the stones and would have had to pull the fender off.

I drive about 17k miles a year. So ya, it's time to start driving this less, but it really isn't bad at all. A little power loss, turning radius blows, gas mileage isn't fantastic anymore, but that's it hahaha.

Brakes are next on the to do list. Gotta work a couple more days and start ordering parts!

New tires look amazing! I've heard that the MTR Kevlars run bigger than most 315's, I guess you can confirm that now haha.

Brave dude cutting into the new paint like that, I'm curious to see how you clearance everything.

Thanks haha!

Oh, they're definitely way bigger than Kraze's 35's in the KM2 flavor. I'm trying to post everything I do to clear these meats.

On the paint note, I actually feel better about it now. The paint was peeling at the edges because it's thinner there, now with bedliner on both sides of the end, I should be good to go.

Looks Awesome!

I'm jealous of the new tires. I tubed my firewall last week and I don't even have any plans to get the tires in the near future. Gotta thrash my 33s up quick haha.

This build is getting sweeeet.

So I ordered another headlight because I broke the mount on the driver-side. Time to redo the retrofit haha dammit. I also ordered dynabeads to see if they help to balance my tires.

Since I'm here anyways, here's a photo of the 911 after I detailed it and installed the new suspension. She looks and drives like an animal.

Looks nice Connor. Almost wet. Chemical Guys Blacklight used by itself works well on black. What did you use?

Still liking the tires?

I actually used Chemical Guys Blacklight! Good call. I like the tires, I got use to driving it and extended my rear bumpstops. Hoping to get it to the desert on Friday or Saturday and play around with it.
