Yeah, I bet that works. What did you use? I have some bumper cut outs that I plan to fill at some point. Did you make it selectable, as in can you go stock reverse lights if you wanted and change to the spot/flood? Although, once you have seen the jail-break spot light illuminate your six, I would think that it would be fairly underwhelming to just use the stock reverse lights.

Also, I think California has the sharpest looking vanity plates so far. We have some pretty cool ones here, but there is something classic about the black and yellow. I am not sure I would want to have to deal with the CA. DOL / smog, but still pretty cool.

I love looking at old stock pics of a 4Runner and how much they have changed and get customized. Great looking rig man.

Small update: sold my F150 and the Porsche. My new DD should be here this week hopefully. Trying to find a fab shop I like to do the front bumper on the 4Runner. I have a lot of lights and small other things to fix this summer. Hopefully start a rear 4 link in August!

Did you fix the Porsche before selling it or not? It was a real beauty, especially after some CG attention. I'd be giddy if it is that Dodge from earlier in the year. Post some pics when ownership is complete.

Porsche worked! Needed a lot of work though, AC, oil lines, clutch to name a few. I drove it around one more time last week and it was fun. Sad to see it go.

No Dodge yet though sadly. Once I figure out where I'm going to live after I graduate.

So what's gonna be the new daily? Or do I have to wait to find out?

I haven't decided on the front bumper yet. I worry I'm too much of a perfectionist to hand cut the plate and I don't have a tube bender. I think I'll get a couple quotes and go from there.

Ha, the PNW has the opposite effect - still no weather - just all rain instead of sun.

Wow Connor, looks like fun. Like the color. I have driven one, quite fun. I personally am still drooling over the truck. I was almost at the point of flipping a coin whether or not to come out to AZ and buy it.

Ya I'm getting tired of Phoenix. We didn't really have a rainy season at all this year. Most of the state is closed for camping right now due to fire concerns. Not tied down, so might as well try somewhere new, even if it's only for a couple years.

I really really like this color, especially in low light. I was originally set on black, but saw this at a local dealer and was hooked. Excited to find some other VW wheels in grey and take some decent pics of the car. Road trip to Phoenix in it this weekend.

My dad actually just returned to work full time! So definitely doing better. The walking is still pretty slow, speaking isn't great, but definitely a lot better. The right arm really hasn't comeback all too much, but he still goes to PT often, so hopefully in time, it will all get better.

4Runner got dropped off at JTA Metal Fab in El Cajon yesterday for a little frame rail chop and front bumper build.

Wish I got to drive something. Didn't even get to ride passenger around a lap. Hoping to take my GTI around someday, or maybe once I buy a Porsche down the line.
