If I wan't to run 4 low diff locked on my 4th gen does it matter what I do first ex. lock the center diff in 4 hi then go into 4 lo or put it in 4 lo then lock the center diff? or does it just not matter?

On Sunday I have to dig out my sisters 700ft snow covered driveway and use her tractor with a snowblower attachment to do the job. The problem is I have to get up the driveway first and she had to lock her Hummer H3 in 4low tonight to get up her own driveway.

It shouldn't matter.

I've got to say, though, I've developed the habit of locking in high first as it seems to work better for me that way -- real or imagined.

Sounds good thanks........... Im going to take some picks of my sisters frozen tundra land today........ Then I just have to figure out how the heck to down load them.......

I don't think there is a right or wrong but I always tend to go into 4LO then lock the diff.
