YW. Meant to add that I chose to replace the OEM skid mounting bolts after removing the skid itself so those holes are filled. Less chance for rust and so on.

Did you get new bolts? or just re use the oem bolts without the skid? Fuel tank skid came in today actually, this thing is mf beefy. From the looks of it, I shouldn't have an issue with lining up that bolt hole on the driver side.

I put the OEM bolts back in, they were in good shape.

Yeah I think they have the best looking bumper out for the t4r. It went together perfectly. I’ve made bumpers from scratch and bought pre-built & I highly recommend Coastal Offroad if your going to go with a weld together kit.

Slider recommendations for 2" body lift

Does anyone have slider recommendations that will work well with a 2" body lift? I'm guessing welding will be required.

wow, took off fuel tank skid to prep for new RCI transfer case and fuel tank skid plates. F that one bolt in the back next to the drive shaft! You guys were right! hahaha

Has anyone bought a rear swingout bumper recently? THe only one I can find is from Victory 4x4. IT looks like a great bumper but, I’m having a hard time with spending $3600 and only getting one swingout

I have a 4x4 labs rear kit with swing arms on the way but I intend to try to add some xterra style side steps to it. Dunno if anyone has tried anything similar but I'll have fun trying even if it doesn't work out.

I started to remove the skid to clean the mud out and got every bolt but that one... I ended up leaving the passenger side bolted in and pivoted it down for cleaning... Obviously that doesn't help with replacement but thought maybe it would for folks wanting to clean out the OEM tank skid.

REAR Bumper

Yes, Coastal Offroad. I just ordered a front bumper and rear with dual swing out for $2800. I have a 240vac MIG so not an issue to assemble them.

Unless you know how to weld and can buy a DIY kit, you're gonna pay $2000+ and be waiting at least a few months. I ordered the True North Fabrications welded bumper from SRQ at the end of July and paid $2100. It's supposed to ship middle of this month. Powdercoat was going to be another $400 or so, so I'll be painting it myself to save some cash there.

$2100! Damn. You only need about $5000 worth of tools to be able to build it yourself lol. Here is my latest rear bumper creation with $100 worth of material I had laying around

Try to find local Fabricator around you. Could be had for less than 2k for sure.
