4th Gen Daystar kit on 5th Gen?

Hey guys, I posted this over on the 4th Gen side, got a few responses but was recommended to post it over here to see if I could get a definitive answer.

I just got my 4runner a few months ago and my wife loved it so much she had to have one. We just bought her a 2011 SR5 this weekend. Man this thing is nice.

Well, when parked next to mine it looks a little sad... and she wants to put a little lift on it. I still have my Daystar 2.5/1.5 and I wanted to know if it will work on the 2011? The part numbers are different on the Daystar website, but the photo looks identical. I get that it might just be a "stock photo", but would it be any different? Just a top out spacer in the front and a top spacer in the rear... thoughts?

I called Daystar and asked them the same thing. When I ordered my for my 2010, the store sent me one for a 4th gen. I called Daystar and asked if it would work and he said it wouldn't so I had to send it back. The part number for the 2.5/1.5 he said I needed is KT09134BK. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply. Yeah I see what part number they have for the 5th gen kit. I know for a fact that the rear spacer will work for either one, just need to know about the front. I'm wondering if they told you it wouldn't work possibly for liability purposes. I can't imagine it being much different fitment

I should have held on to the wrong set and compared them to the new set. Someone else on here will probably know.

Well for anyone else who is interested.. I talked to Dan at Wheeler's Off-Road and he assured me that the parts are identical. He "we sell both kits and they are the same". Now I feel more comfortable pulling the front apart knowing the parts will fit.
