yes I did, made it much easier to do so

How much effort (how much time) did it take to remove the bumper?

I had never done it before so I googled some instructions. I would say it took me 20 minutes. Now that I know how it all fits together, I could have it off in 10.

Led Light Bar Install

That looks great. I am trying to do the same thing, but I have not been able to get the front bumper off so that I can mount the light bar. How did you mount your lightbar?

Who needs stealth mounted? I just replaced the grille and did flush mounted :bounce:

There are brackets that attach to the bumper mount.

I have the brackets, but my drill won't fit into such a tight spot. I couldn't get the front bumper to come off, so anybody have suggestions on to do it with the bumper on?

You have to take the bumper off in order to mount this way, I used these brackets

They use the bumper mounting bolts to mount so you need to remove the bumper to get to them

Updated my 04 headlights to 06. Installed Baja design squadron Pros in the high beams. Added morimoto switch back halos. Morimoto led low beams. Also have squadron pro ditch lights.

I did not remove my bumper to install the bracket for this light bar. All you need to do is remove the bolts to the crash bar and install the bracket and put the bolts back on. I used the end of a jack handle as they are on tight. I used a Dremel tool to cut the plastic grill hole out. Not hard, just take your time.

How did you mount the Squadron Pros in? And how did you wire them up to work with the OEM switch.

Looks amazing. I have yet to see halos that I like on a 4th gen until now. Making me reconsider adding them in

Put Rigid Duallys in the lower grill. Used a jab saw to cut the grill, drilled pilot holes in the cross-member, and attached the brackets with larger self-tapping screws.

I had a shop do the wiring since I'm a little nervous about handling that sort of thing. I bought an FJ auxillary switch and pigtail, and put that in one of the center console blanks.
