I guess another option instead of the chrome cover for our grills is to order the 2005 SR5 grill. At this point, I don't know if it is different than having a chrome cover.
Does anyone understand Toyota? Why offer this on the SR5 and not the other models. Seems more like a Limited feature to me.

I would first try Steve Ganz of Carson Toyota: [email protected] I ordered the tail light garnish that is on that same Hilux Surf New Rugged Version from them. I think he will probably get the most resonable price for you. However, they do have to be ordered from Japan and take a while. Everyone has loved the customer service they have received from their parts department. Check out the rear cover and tail light guards more HEREwebshot said:
If you don't want to wait you could get them from member Jason B, who runs Burtmanindustries.com I ordered my chrome door handle covers from him and they are supposed to get here today. He just received a shipment, from Japan, of 25 of each item, so they are probably ready for immediate delivery (After some delays I had to wait like 2 months). I don't know if he carries the same product that Toyota does though. If you find out, please let us know. Lots of people have had good service from him as well. Check out the handles more

You good probably also get them from japanparts.com or sigma automotive, but I haven't had much luck getting responses from them.

I just realized I hadn't posted any pics here of the grill color that came on a few peoples '03 Sports. I took these of someone else's 4runner in a parking lot. The third is actually a pic of the rear trim piece, but it gives a good idea of what the finish of the grill actually looks like:

That little wood engrained steering wheel is $450, plus your steering wheel as a 'core' charge tradein. :awais:
I saw a Sport in the showroom with this package. It was nice, but the leather is hard and cold. Not worth the massive markup.
Markup was approaching $4,900 for three badges, TRD leather, wood/leather steering wheel and grill.

I saw that grill in person one day when i was at the dealer, I didnt like it at all. It just didnt look right, probably because its too solid...i dunno, its not my taste

I personally like that last grille the best...it was custom made by a person on yotatech (just read the thread attatched)
On another note...if you like those sliders, we are having a group buy over at yotatech, and the more people come the less they are. They are the new Hanna Sliders and if you search at yotatech, you will find out a lot about them

Man I was just about to post the pic of this grill when I see someone already has. I pm'd him about a week ago on YT and he said he made it himself but wouldn't give me any more details than that.
It is definitely my favorite grill although I would like to see it high gloss black to go on a black runner.
So what is the satoshi mod? Thanks

What's up with FirstToy keeping it a secret. I understand wanting to be unique and all, but really, how often do we see each other.......and imitating is a form of flattery I think. Unless he is patenting the shit, I just don't understand it. I asked him over there too, but I think I posted it in the wrong thread or something......I think I PM'd him too a while back. Yeah, I was confused by what the satoshi mod was too........the threads aren't that clear. I think it is just the same as what we are calling the raingutter mesh mod. But I'm not certain.
