thanks man...I found that one but in the scion the AUX plug is down in the dash and no tin the head unit. I want to be able to plug in my iphone but I do not want an aftermarket stereo. I had the AVIC-N2 in it but took it out.

You can get a Scion T1808 and buy the iPod adapter (hooks into the back of the HU). You can run the iPod adapter out the lower tray below the HVAC buttons or run it to your glove box like I have mine. Soudns waaaaaaay better then the crappy stock HU.
you are my hero....thanks for the help..this is what I will do. any idea if this head unit will fit in the limited and the SR5?

I got a t1808 and got a couple things that are NECESSARY, bro:
1) the aftermarket IPOD cable (comes 5 or 6 feet long, wont charge the phone unless you get the adapter that goes on the end of the cord. You can get both from a guy on Ebay, brand new...if you want the seller let me know!)
2) The Toyota HU has TWO (2) antenna cables...the Scion HU's have one. So if you go on Amazon, you can get both a 2-to-1 AND you'll need a jack adapter (as one of the male-leads is smaller than the other). Again, if you want this info, hit me up, i got you covered.

I know for sure on the SR5 but I'm not sure on the limited if you have the JBL system. I believe you might need an adapter to fit it to the JBL system...
Thanks Zero! Just trying to help out fellow T4R owners :driving:. And ditto on the charging adapter that Zero is talking about. Cheap way to keep your iPhone charged while using it with the HU. I have the same thing.

If you install a USA Spec PA15-TOY, it will work with your stock radio. It has an iPod cable, which works with the latest iPhone 4S, as well as an AUX jack. I ran both to a knock out blank in the center console. It won't be on the H/U, but you will be able to have both options at probably a cheaper cost. The USA Spec runs about $120 on amazon.
I thin k i have chosen this unit...it has the plug for the ipod cable and the steering wheel controls any thoughts

looks good and should be plug-n-play but I don't have any experience with that model. I really like the look of that model though. Let us know how it goes!
