4th gen roofrack

We just returned from a trip which was our first opportunity to really use the rack. I was very impressed. I had previously added mounts for a shovel and traction boards and then we had to add a cargo box due to space restrictions inside the vehicle. The rack was solid with the weight of the gear and even with me standing on the crossbars to load/unload. There wasn't any movement on the rough trail. While I have aging ears, I haven't noticed any significant wind noise - with or without gear.
 
The more I gear up, the more I think I might switch to the Prisnu rack. I've liked my WMW, but now with the RTT, I need something a bit more low profile and flat.

Also, #****GOBI. Seriously.

Haha....I agree with ya on GOBI after that whole fiasco....

Let me know if you switch....I'd be interested in your WMW ;P

I just bought the prinsu and installed it. Loving it so far!

I've always like the wmw too. If we were closer I might consider offering to trade.

Anyway, I agree about gobi. Screw those guys!

I see that you're in Colorado, if you do decide to switch to the Prinsu I'd love to buy your WMW rack. I'm in Denver :hello:
 
That is one great looking set up. Any roof modifications needed for folks to sleep up there without risking the roof buckling?
 
Finally installed my prinsu rack... am loving it so far. Am impressed with the materials and overall design and really looking forward to using it.

I really wish Relentless Fab would release more photos of their low profile rack. It looks a lot like the Prinsu but all the bars are welded and they offer four mounting points for lights at the corners. They sent me a couple of pics but still really hard to tell how the sides look. They have two built and one is on their silver 4th Gen 4R. The other is sitting at there shop for local pick up only. Same price as Prinsu. Will be interesting when they figure out shipping price and provide more info.

Your front wind fairing is different than mine. I've noticed this on a lot of the racks. None are the same.
