I finally made the switch from a 4th Gen to a 5th gen! .....but now i am left with all these 4th gen parts that i would love to put on my 5th.

I did some research and could not find much. My question is:

Will my Icon Coilovers transfer over to a 2013 4runner?

I know my UCA, rear shocks, and springs will but i am not 100 percent sure.

Can anyone help a brother other can confirm?

Hi Bonyfattony,

Before you start swapping parts around on your new ride's suspension system, I'd suggest spending a little time understanding how your X-REAS suspension system works or irreversible damage may result, costing you upwards of $3,000 dollars to restore! BTW: I love the way your truck looks; ...something about that BLK-on-BLK will always turn heads! X-REAS suspension system on the Limited Edition

Cheers!

Not only can I suggest they will fit, I can tell you in fact, I pulled the Icon lift and All-Pro uppers off my 2003 and put them on my 2013.

Thanks for the insight! The Xreas is great but not exactly what i am looking for. However i couldn't agree with you more, black on black truly turns heads.

Thats good to know! Looks like this baby is going to be lifted soon.

Thank you guys for your help.

I was under the impression that the 4th gen and early FJ Cruisers were the same up front. I have early FJ Cruiser FOX front suspension on my 5th gen and it did require one slight change. The lower control arm bushing/bolt was 14mm where the FJ Cruiser was 12mm. So I had to swap the misalignment spacers. Fox shows the same part number for both, but they are not interchangeable without that swap. On the bright side they are $9 ea. so the swap was still really easy. Just need a few surprise parts when I went to install.

All of the rear components are the same, the UCAs are the same, and the only difference on the front coilover is the lower hardware. ICON can get you the correct parts to make the change.
