Interesting theory. I drove 100 km (62 miles) today and the light started to flash. The vehicle is now in my garage and the alloy wheels with TPM sensors are in the basement. I wonder if 15 feet of space and a concrete slab will transmit the signal?

Wrote about this in another thread. MY TPMS malfunction indicator (blinking light) will come on after one consecutive hour of runtime after being out of range of the stored wheels. The sensors reset later when I'm parked in the garage even though the wheels are stored 20 feet away, sensing through 2 concrete walls and the garage floor pad.

Same with mine, as they were reset this morning. Another goods thing about the Canadian versions - much like the good bug deflectors?
