4WD on the V6

As far as I'm concerned, a switchable 4WD vehicle that cannot get into 4WD at a standstill is severely handicapped. I've driven vehicles from the '60s, '70s, '80s and '90s that could get into 4WD from a dead stop, and owning one from 2006 that couldn't would suck, IMO.

Nothing is free. I veiw this shortcoming as the price for the Torsen center diff, it's a price I am happy to pay.

And yes, there are times it's a PITA.

So I was just coming back from the Michigan NorthWestern football game in Ann Arbor (I'm a Michigan fan at heart, but support Michigan State cuz my brother plays for them), and on the way home there was a blizzard, so I dropped down to about 55 mph and kicked it into 4Hi and stuck between 55 and 60. I was wondering if after you kick it into 4Hi, can you exceed that 62.5mph (100kmh)?

Run it to the electronic speed limiter if you like. :rocker: :zoom: Remember the V6 in 4HI is identical to what the V8 guys use all of the time.

That's what I thought, but I didn't wanna test anything till I got on here and asked. Gracias! Btw, I'll post pics of the rig shortly, I haven't had time since I got my camera working.
