4x4 slipping?

For gosh sakes change your fluids. It's time. Anyone who lives in Oakland should know that....:hatsoff:

haha sorry i just moved here in sept so i don't really get your joke :( i don't really tow anything so why spend unnecessary money? :D i just got back from our reno weekend trip. it snowed pretty hard yesterday. it was a lot of fun and the runner ran great! i wish i had more time to drive on some snow trails but we barely had enough time to ski. will be going to tahoe again in 2 weeks...

yeah a bit since i usually like to go fast. the 4wd makes me feel better...

Be careful, because 4WD only helps get you moving, it doesn't help for stopping. I was slipping and sliding a bit. The roads were not plowed.

I was up in Reno this past weekend too (stayed there and snowboarded in Tahoe). Reno got more snow than the resort. :(

Quite a few spinouts on I80 coming out of Reno and it was shutdown around the Donner Lake yesterday morning due to accidents. I attribute it to those like this one guy in a lowered Accord with no chains and trying to do 50mph keeping up with trucks and SUVs.

yeah i usually have my wife next to me reminding me to go slower :D it's pretty fun passing people up.

we were trying to ski at sierra but the drive from reno took too long :( everyone had to take 50 back to the bay area since 80 was closed. i'm glad we didn't ski and got out early though. some of my friends got stuck in slt until monday....

we should do a 4runner trip to tahoe some time. aren't there quite a few mud parks near sacramento? on my way up there on sat morning, i saw a team of jeeps (about 6-7 of them)...

I left Northstar around 2p. Took about 6hrs to get back to the Bay Area. Twice as long as normal. I did spend a bit time getting food.

I hate Sierra, because I don't like how the runs are setup, 50 is a pain and (unless they changed it) there's no traffic control at the T-intersection from Sierra onto 50. I like their sister-resort Northstar more. :)

i'm a newb so i like the long green run at sierra. i assume you're a snowboarder so you don't like the flat parts at sierra.

i like northstar and squaw if i do ski-in/ski-out since their resort areas are so nice. i also like the snowshoeing/snowmobile/cross country skiing option at northstar.

they have a cop now at the t section in the afternoon to direct the traffic so it's not too bad...
