I am new to these vehicles. I come from older trucks and cars before all the eco shifting. Newest vehicle we own is a 06 sienna and others are stick shift, so maybe some of you can help me. My 10 Limited's tranny drives me nuts that it continues to upshift. I go and hit the gas harder, it just sits and nothing really happens. it just doesn't move like some of the older cars where it kicks down. I have to hit it hard to down shift,then it shifts one gear and does not continue to shift to another gear. Is it normal? No need for a dragster, but like to get out of dodge when necessary without flooring it. the damn thing is in 5th gear doing 35. i know, I know, I can use tip. I am just trying to learn my new truck.
