5100?

I'm thinking of installing some Bilstein 5100's on the front of my new 5th gen and I have a few questions.

1. My goal is to just level off the front end and lose the raked look, will installing these set at 1.75 accomplish that without any alignment or other issues?

2. By lifting the front end this way, aren't you just pre-loading the spring? Doesn't that cause a more bouncy/pogo ride?

Yes. The ride will be affected. For 1.75, you might consider looking into a UCA, but is not required. Anything over 2" and I always recommend a UCA. The other advantage to an aftermarket UCA is that you will gain added clearance if you wish to run bigger (and wider) tires.
