5100's in, have a speed sensor code

i posted this a few days ago and it got deleted when some threads where lost. I had 5100s put in all the way around, and i now have a right front speed sensor code. Before the thread was gone someone mentioned the ABS wire. The installer traced it and found no pinching. I have looked at other threads and have seen it can become stretched during install, bringing on the code. Anyone have experience with this? is it a PITA to put in new cable? The dash lights that are on are ABS, and trac control.

Thanks

You need to check each wire, if you over stretch the sensor cable, the sheathing can stretch but the copper wire inside it cannot; hence why you might have wires that appear to be fine externally, but are internally open.

by using a multi meter down the wire?
Yes, by using a ohmmeter to check continuity. The ABS wiring harness cost about $50 for each side and are easy to change.......ask me how I know.lol
Some people have just repaired or spliced in a new wire.

no by looking under the wheel well and seeing if the wire is snapped
They never appear "snapped" because as eddiebx just stated the wires are in a protective rubber sheath that stretches but the wires inside don't stretch and you can't see the break from the outside.
