Hi Guys~
Over the weekend I drove my Buddy's '08 Tacoma Access Cab PreRunner 2WD with the TRD OffRoad Package, BFG AT's and a spacer lift. I know his Tacoma came with the Bilstein Off Road spec shocks, and I have to say that I love the way it handled in comparison to my stock SR5. It had considerably less body roll and just felt closer to a car than my 4Runner does.
My question is this: How comparable are the Bilsteins that come on his truck to Bilstein 5100's? I have heard about the greatness of 5100's in reducing body roll, brake dive etc, I just want to know if any of you guys have any comparison experience from our 5th Gen's to that style Tacoma (I know the suspension is not the same as our trucks and it is a completely different car), but I liked the feel and wanted to see if the 5100's will help get me there and aid in my future suspension set up decisions.
Thanks as always!
