Ive been mulling this over and am hoping others have input. One of the biggest changes of going from the stock air box to the TRD intake is losing the resonator chambers. So I wondered about just swapping the tube between the air box and the throttle body, whether using the TRD tube or another solution.
Anyway, I searched (do I get a cookie?) and saw there was quite a bit of conversation in the 4th gen section and found this page referenced explaining why the resonators exist.
What Does an Air Intake Resonator Do? | eHow
But then if the benefit was that important, I imagine the TRD intake wouldn't exist or would retain them.
So... thoughts?
